God bless!
Would you ever give a gift to your child if they received all "F's" on their report card? Would you go to a restaurant and pay full price if there was a roach in your food? Would you pay rent for an apartment that the owner didn't let you live in? I'm sure our answer to all these questions are "No"! Human common sense is really what motivates this reaction. How is it that God does the exact opposite? If you read the verse below you will understand what I mean. He doesn't repay us based on what we do, but He actually blesses us based on what we could* do. What do I mean? We can do the right thing, we can make the right choice but it's up to us to take that route. It doesn't mean we always will make the right choice but He gives us every tool to do it. So why don't we? Good question... I guess it's a mixture of us taking advantage of His infinite love and us just not having complete self-control. So what do we do? We need to appreciate His everlasting, unconditional love and accept His word (and not ours!). But if we don't we have assurances that as long as our heart is repented He will joyfully take us back!
