God bless!

Many of us during difficult times close our ears to the voice of God. We get upset because we don't see the outcome we desire when we desire it. This leads us to miss opportunities and lose out on our predestined blessing. The verse below talks about how the Angel calls out to Abraham in that crucial moment when he was about to slay his son. Can you imagine for a second if Abraham would have closed his hearing to God in that moment? He would have theoretically done what God told him but not how, when and why he told him. Can you imagine where Abrahams mind was in that moment? I can, he was praying to God. How do I know? It's only through prayer (communication) that we can hear and be heard. The moral today is simple, as hard as it may seem to be for you today, keep praying He is about to speak to you!

But the Angel of the Lord called to him from heaven and said, Abraham, Abraham! He answered, Here I am. (Genesis 22:11 AMP)

God bless you,

Leave your past behind!! Seriously, stop visiting your past over and over…stop thinking of what could have been, or the “what if’s” of our past. It’s already gone whether it was a good past or not…no matter how much we think about it or what we try to do, we can never go back in time. God gives us his mercies every single morning, he gives us new opportunities to make things right. Why does he do this? Simply because he loves us, because he is madly in love with us and wants only but the best for us. “The faithful love of the Lord never ends! His mercies never cease. Great is his faithfulness; his mercies begin afresh each morning.” Lamentations 3:22-23 (NLT).  Each new day, we have the opportunity to start fresh with God; even if we are experiencing the consequences of our past decisions, his love and faithfulness will help us through our trials. Stop thinking of the past!! Don’t do it because I am telling you, do it because God says so: “So don’t remember what happened in earlier times. Don’t think about what happened a long time ago” Isaiah 43:18 (ERV).

God bless!

Picking up where we left off Abraham understood the concept of sowing and reaping. He spoke his son back to life, how? By declaring his offering, worshipping and speaking in faith. But what was the key in all of this? His worship! Can you worship the Being that is asking you to give Him your most prized possession? Can you prioritize a Being that in your eyes may be requesting something "unfair"? It's probably the hardest thing for any of us to do but it is the difference between a blessing and a curse. How do you visualize what you are going through? Is it the end of the world or the start of a New Beginning? Our end result is dependent upon us, He did His part and awaits us to simple believe and walk. Want to get your blessing sooner? Worship is the key to expediting your blessing. Why wait any longer?

Pastor Joell

And Abraham said to his servants, Settle down and stay here with the donkey, and I and the young man will go yonder and worship and come again to you. (Genesis 22:5 AMP)

God bless!

There is something very awesome about the sense of “sight”, it breathes hope on the hopeless and opportunity on the exhausted. In the verse below we see how Abraham traveled for three days until he was able to see the location where he was to sacrifice Isaac. Now you may be thinking, what hope was there in this situation with Isaac but I tell you, that day marked one of the biggest victories for Christianity. It was Abrahams faith that birthed our ability to be part of the big picture. He saw in the distance opportunity, what opportunity? The opportunity to see God work in the impossible! Do you find yourself getting closer to your impossible? If you can see it in the distance then prepare yourself for the miracle! Your breakthrough is steps ahead.

Pastor Joell

On the third day Abraham looked up and saw the place in the distance. (Genesis 22:4 AMP)

Some time ago I heard a mention of a famous rap artist's saying, which is the following: “You should either pray or worry – don’t do both”.

It is something well said, that holds much truth. When we encounter a situation that we don't understand we should run to prayer. The more difficult the issue the more one should pray.

Prayer connects the bridge between "the difficulty" and The Answer(in Him). Prayer is our sign of "trust" to The Almighty.

Did you know that it takes Faith to pray?

Did you realize that you are showing God Your Faith in Him when you take the action to Pray?

Prayer may sound simple, yet it is something that takes effort. Especially when we face the most difficult problems in life. But take delight in knowing that the moment we Pray the remedy is already in the works. Because it is not about what we can do in our own strength, it is what He can do in His.

Lean on Him. Trust in Him. Be Confident that He wants the absolute best for you. What's the alternative?... Don't trust Him and worry? Selah

Proverbs 3:5 AMP
Lean on, trust in, and be confident in the Lord with all your heart and mind and do not rely on your own insight or understanding.

As people in today's society, we tend to think that more is better. The more we do, the more we can get ahead. The more we engulf ourselves, the greater the result.

For the most part, this can be true. But the saying "it's about quality and not quantity" exists for a reason.

As Christ followers, we tend to bring this same mentality into our walk with God. Yes, God is looking for us to serve Him and do for His little ones. BUT, there's something God wants even more than our servitude. (Yes, you are reading correctly). Before our servitude, God wants our heart. God wants our essence. God wants to reside in us.

How can we give Him servitude when we have not given Him our heart? That would just be going through the motions. He must be the Lord of Lords, the King of Kings in our heart first. And then we can truly serve Him, once we've given Him all of who we are, from the inside out.

He's not looking for you to do more for Him. What He truly wants is your Heart. Once you've given it to Him, the rest will naturally follow.

So what are you waiting for?

Most people have shared the experience of walking in the dark. Perhaps in the middle of the night seeking the restroom. Maybe it's been walking into your home at night and looking for the light switch. No matter the scenario, it isn't the most comfortable experience.

Sometimes you stumble, sometimes you trip, sometimes you fall and get hurt. The ideal would be to walk into a lit up room.

It's funny how our walk in life is similar to the above scenarios. Some of us try to walk, others may try to jog and a few try to run through life.

We go through some obstacles, we face difficulties and we try our best to get through them. Sometimes we feel lost, without a clue, in the dark looking for a way out.

The good news is that we have an answer.... The Answer. Jesus tells us that no matter how dark things may get in life, there is a solution. We find the light, the answer in Him who is Light and is The Answer. No matter what your situation, you can trust in one guarantee... that He will always lead you into Victory!

All you have to do is seek Him and you'll have Lights On!

John 8:12 NIV

When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, “I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.”

God bless you,

One of the disciples asked Jesus, how many times should I forgive? and he answered them: 70 times 7. Many times it's very hard to fully forgive given the different circumstances but what happens when the one you have to forgive is yourself? Many may say, it's easy to forgive yourself but the truth is that self-forgiveness is the hardest to achieve. When you have caused yourself so much pain and you have sinned over and over with the same thing, it becomes very hard to truly forgive yourself. Let me tell you that there is no mistake or sin in the world that Jesus will not forgive and cleanse with his precious blood. "We should live in the light, where God is. If we live in the light, we have fellowship with each other, and the blood sacrifice of Jesus, God’s Son, washes away every sin and makes us clean." 1 John 1:7 We could see that this verse tells us that "EVERY SIN" is forgiven not some. Let's keep moving forward recognizing that God has already forgiven us...let's not move backwards, not even to gain momentum.

God Bless You!

If you had the choice to bathe in a bathtub of dirty water or in one of clean water, what would you choose? I'm pretty confident in saying all of us would prefer the fresh clean water. If we were thirsty and had the option of some old, dirty water that has been in a cup for weeks or some fresh cold water in a clean cup, what would we pick? The answer once again will be the fresh cold water. Why is it that even when God offers us his living water, his fresh anointing, and the river of his Spirit we insist in swimming in some dirty waters full of sin? Why swim in a dangerous dirty pool without a lifeguard? Jesus is our lifeguard and he wants to give you a constant flow of his fresh living water!! He offers us a river of his love and blessings...let's get out of our dirty swimming pools and jump in the River of God's presence and love.

Pastor Laura Palacios

John 7:38 "If anyone believes in me, rivers of living water will flow out from their heart. That is what the Scriptures say."

God bless!

Have you ever felt like a fellow Christian took advantage of you? I'm sure we all have. The verse below talks about employees & employers but the truth is it applies to all of our relationships not just those in the work place. Why do I bring this up today? The fact is we need to start recognizing God in each other, we need to value His presence in those around us, how can we respect the world and not our God fearing brethren? I know many of us think: I'll give respect when I'm respected but if we all approach things that way things will never change. Are you up to the challenge of respecting first? I dare you!

Pastor Joell

Let those who have believing masters not be disrespectful or scornful [to them] on the grounds that they are brothers [in Christ]; rather, they should serve [them all the better] because those who benefit by their kindly service are believers and beloved. Teach and urge these duties. (1 Timothy 6:2 AMP)

God bless!

Our God is faithful! He will not forget His promise to you. He is your foundation and promises to uphold you. Who can change that? Who can make Him change His course? Who can overpower Him? No one! Hold on tight as God will help you achieve the desires of your heart!

Pastor Joell

Yet the Lord is faithful, and He will strengthen [you] and set you on a firm foundation and guard you from the evil [one]. (2 Thessalonians 3:3 AMP)

To be great leaders we must lead with greatness. Greatness is not something we acquire, God has already placed it inside of us. We simply have to mine the greatness that is already there. Many times we complain of the "difficult situation" we are going through. However, the difficult situations we find ourselves in are the moments & opportunities for us to mine, dig deep and see forth His greatness in us. It is in these difficulties that we see what we are made of. If only we could understand that we are made by Him. That He makes no mistakes, He leaves nothing out, that He creates us On Purpose and In Purpose. We'd understand that the moments of greatest difficulties are the ones that will lead us to our greatest Victories!

Be the great leader He created you to be!

Titus 1:7-8 (AMP)
7 For the bishop (an overseer) as God’s steward must be blameless, not self-willed or arrogant or presumptuous; he must not be quick-tempered or given to drink or pugnacious (brawling, violent); he must not be grasping and greedy for filthy lucre (financial gain);
8 But he must be hospitable (loving and a friend to believers, especially to strangers and foreigners); [he must be] a lover of goodness [of good people and good things], sober-minded (sensible, discreet), upright and fair-minded, a devout man and religiously correct, temperate and keeping himself in hand.

God Bless

We all look forward to our birthdays, well most of us at least. We like the attention, we enjoy time with our loved ones and we especially love the gifts. Who doesn't look forward to a gift? I surely don't know anyone that doesn't, whether it's our love language or not. There is effort put forth into the celebration no matter how big or small.

How much do we celebrate our walk with our Lord & Savior? Every day is a birthday. Every day should be a day we celebrate because we are born again... we are renewed, we are restored and we've been given an opportunity to live for Him and in Him. We should keep joy in our hearts as we walk through life because another day of life is another gift that He has given us. We should celebrate and rejoice because we have a God that desires to see us blessed everyday more and more!

With that said... Happy Birthday! Enjoy this day that He has given you and He has created for you. Everything your eyes can see is His creation for you. Consider it a gift from above. Enjoy it!

Psalm 118:24 English Standard Version (ESV)
24 This is the day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice and be glad in it.

God Bless
