It’s hard as humans at time to believe in a strength that we can’t see with our physical eyes (theoretically). Though we may not directly see it we do see evidence of His actions everywhere. Humans are impressed by things they see with their eyes: items, adversaries, etc. As Christians we learn to see what we believe rather than believe what we see. Humans will trust in their strength but we are taught to trust in His. Today as you go forward with your day I encourage you to remember and rely on Him. Our strength will fail but His is everlasting!

            Como humanos, muchas veces se nos hace bien difícil creer en una “fuerza y poder” que no podemos ver con nuestros propios ojos (hablando teóricamente). Aunque no podamos ver la fuerza y el poder de Dios físicamente, sí podemos ver las evidencias de tal en todo lugar. Como humanos nos gusta ver las cosas físicas, lo material, lo que podemos ver y tocar. Como cristianos aprendemos algo muy diferente; aprendemos a creer en las cosas que no se ven. Como cristianos aprendemos a confiar totalmente en la fuerza y el poder de Dios y no en nuestras fuerzas. En este día te quiero animar a que confíes y descanses totalmente en Dios. ¡Nuestras fuerzas tienen límite y se acaban pero la fuerza y el poder de Dios perdurarán para siempre!

            Este mensaje será corto y agradable. El Señor quiere bendecirnos y levantarnos. El quiere darnos todo lo que necesitamos. En este día oremos para que El no solamente nos de lo que necesitamos, sino que también alinee nuestro corazón al suyo y así poder recibir también lo que deseamos. ¡No hay nada imposible para Dios!

       Many people in the church today walk around speaking everything positive under the sun but they simply don't believe themselves. Please don't misunderstand what  saying here, I'm all for having a positive outlook and speaking life over ourselves. The issue I'm pointing out is when we speak continuously about something but we see no change because we are not doing anything to promote change. The verse today shows how it’s not only the words of our mouth but also the meditation of our heart! We have to begin to align our mouths with our heart and then we will be acceptable in His sight (assuming our thoughts and words are righteous!).

            Muchos cristianos hoy en día se la pasan día y noche hablando positivamente de todo tema pero en lo profundo de su ser, no creen lo que dicen. Por favor no mal interpreten lo que estoy tratando de decir; me parece maravilloso el ser positivo, es bueno expresarlo y declararlo. A lo que me refiero en este día es que muchas veces, dedicamos mucho tiempo a hablar continuamente de algo pero la realidad es que no ponemos en acción nuestras palabras para verdaderamente obtener el cambio que buscamos. El versículo de hoy nos recuerda que no es suficiente con las palabras que hablamos sino que nuestro corazón también tiene que estar conectado a esas palabras. Tenemos que alinear nuestras palabras con nuestro corazón, de esta manera seremos agradables a Dios (obvio que esto solo sucederá, si nuestras palabras son rectas).

     There is a joy I quietly find when I enter into a dark room and I am able to flick on the light switch. That awesome moment when darkness flees and light takes dominion over the space. This is exactly what God does when we allow Him into our lives and hearts. He enters and powers up the space within us with His love. The darkness that existed at one point all of a sudden flees and we become empowered and full of light. There is only one catch, we can turn the light on in one room but that doesn't mean the whole house is lit. This process can only take place as we allow Him to enter into every room. Today is the day we Need to let Him walk around all the rooms inside of us so we can be truly lit! What are we waiting for?

Psalms 18:28 "For You cause my lamp to be lighted and to shine; the Lord my God illumines my darkness."

            Cada vez que entro a un cuarto obscuro y prendo la luz, siento algo de felicidad al ver la luz. Estoy hablando de ese momento maravilloso cuando la obscuridad tiene que huir y la luz toma dominio total del espacio. Esto es precisamente lo que sucede también en lo espiritual cuando le permitimos a Dios entrar a nuestras vidas y nuestros corazones. El entra y alumbra nuestra vida con su amor. La obscuridad que vivíamos de un momento a otro desaparece y Dios recarga nuestras vidas y las llena de su luz. Con esto en mente hay algo que tenemos que recordar, cuando estamos en una casa, podemos prender la luz de una habitación pero las otras habitaciones permanecen en obscuras; lo mismo sucede con Dios. Nosotros tenemos que darle permiso para que el entre en cada área de nuestra vida y la transforme con su amor. Hoy es el día en que debemos darle control absoluto a Dios de cada área de nuestra vida para así, ¡verdaderamente experimentar su luz en todo aspecto de nuestra vida! ¿Qué estas esperando?

       God’s blessings in our life are a necessity. The should never be something we see as optional. How do we obtain them? By pleasing Him with our actions and beliefs. At this point many people have already tuned me out because they assume pleasing Him is living perfectly and that is simply a wrong. The process of living perfect is not accomplished by our strength but rather through His. Our job in this process is to accept His will and make it ours. When we are able to do this we begin to please Him and that starts a wave of blessings over our life. Want to be in a large place? Then it’s time to accept our Big Gods will!

            Todos necesitamos las bendiciones de Dios en nuestra vida; nunca debemos verlas como algo opcional. ¿Cómo las podemos obtener? Complaciendo, agradando a Dios con nuestras acciones y nuestra fe. Estoy seguro que a este punto muchos ya están listos para borrar este mensaje porque piensan que el agradar a Dios se trata de vivir una vida perfecta pero, esto no es cierto. El vivir una vida agradable a Dios es todo un proceso y esto no se logra con nuestras fuerzas sino con sus fuerzas (las de Dios). Nuestro trabajo más importante es el aprender a aceptar su voluntad y hacer las cosas con amor, sabiendo que estamos agradándolo en el proceso. Cuando llegamos entrar a este punto entonces, comenzamos a agradar (complacer) a Dios y sus bendiciones llegan a nosotros como olas. ¿Quieres disfrutar de un lugar espacioso? ¡Entonces ha llegado el tiempo de aceptar la voluntad de nuestro gran Dios!

        There is no better feeling in the world than to know you have an awesome covering. Whether that be attributed to great parents, great family, great friends or whatever else its awesome to know there is someone watching our back. Many times like in the case of an inheritance or heritage the person doesn't even have to be alive to have a great impact on our lives. Why am I sharing this today? It’s important that we all realize our heritage to be able to truly enjoy and appreciate it. What good is it to have a name before others if we don't recognize the value behind it? Today I encourage you to stop and realize the Name that is above you, the One who stands for you and the heritage He left by dying on that cross for you!

            El sentirse que uno esta bajo una buena cobertura (protegido y apoyado) es uno de los mejores sentimientos que podemos experimentar. Puede ser que esta cobertura nos la den nuestros padres, nuestra familia, nuestras amistades, etc.; sea lo que sea es bueno y reconfortante saber que le importamos a alguien y que ese alguien, se preocupa por nuestro bienestar. Muchas veces como en los casos de las herencias o patrimonios familiares, puede ser que la persona o personas ya hayan fallecido pero aun así, impactan nuestra vida en el presente. ¿Por qué les comparto de ese tema en ese día? Es muy importante que entendamos cual es nuestra herencia para verdaderamente poderla apreciar y disfrutar. ¿De que nos sirve tener un nombre o apellido reconocido si no lo sabemos valorar? Hoy te animó a que te detengas por un momento y reconozcas cual es la cobertura que tienes, quien es el que te apoya y te protege y a través de su sacrificio en la cruz eres coheredero de una gran herencia.

         Where you live and hang out makes all the difference in the world. It’s the difference between looking both ways as you walk out your front door, to not even locking your door at all when you leave. The effect on our mind when it comes to location is huge as it will either allow us to be open and at peace or will cause us to close up and be in constant worry. The same principal applies to our spiritual life, we either find ourselves relaxed and in peace or we are uncomfortable and paranoid. The great thing is no matter where we are today there is still an opportunity to move to a better location. That better location is His tabernacle, are you there?

            Los lugares donde vivimos y los lugares que visitamos, marcan nuestra vida de gran manera. Puede ser que nuestro lugar de residencia sea seguro y tengamos la tranquilidad de a veces ni siquiera tener que trancar nuestras puertas, como puede ser que sea lo contrario y cada vez que salimos de casa, miramos a todos lados para asegurarnos que no estamos en peligro. Los efectos que nuestra localización puede tener en nuestra mente, son grande; algunos podemos sentirnos en paz y seguros mientras otros, pueden estar viviendo una constante preocupación. Este mismo principio de localización se puede aplicar en nuestra vida espiritual, o nos encontramos en paz y relajados o incómodos y paranoicos. Lo maravilloso es que no importa en que lugar espiritual nos encontremos en este momento, aún tenemos la oportunidad de movernos a una mejor “localización”. El mejor lugar que podemos estar es el tabernáculo de Dios (el lugar de su presencia), ¿estas allí?

        We just went through a great time of blessings as a corporate body, we are now entering into a new cycle of our spiritual growth. There are great things on their way towards us, yes us not someone else but us! Sometimes it’s hard to believe this because our mind tends to set us up for failure but I have a message for you today and it is simple: get ready for a wave of new blessings! There will be growth beyond what you can imagine, there will be change beyond your desire. God is about to pour out over our families, jobs and church in a way that we have never experienced before, don’t believe me? I will email you in a couple of months and ask you if this was true, we are at a cross road where greatness is surrounding us. Are we going to choose to receive the blessings or are we going to stay in the same routine as always? I can’t speak for you but I’m telling you right now that I will receive so much in the next couple of weeks that my storehouse will not be able to contain the blessings!

¡Que Dios Te Bendiga!

            Como iglesia, acabamos de pasar por una etapa estupenda repleta de bendiciones y ahora hemos entrado a una nueva etapa, la cual nos ayudara a todos en nuestro crecimiento espiritual. Hay cosas maravillosas que vienen en camino para nosotros…sí nosotros, ¡nadie más, estoy hablando de cosas para ti y para mi! Muchas veces nos cuesta trabajo creerlo ya que nuestra mente juega con nosotros y prácticamente nos prepara para el fracaso, pero en este día tengo un mensaje para ti y para mí: ¡prepárate para una nueva ola de bendiciones! Llegará un crecimiento que no nos podemos imaginar, habrá un cambio mucho más allá de lo que pensamos. El Señor esta a punto de derramar sus bendiciones sobre nuestras familias, nuestros trabajos, nuestra iglesia y esto sucederá de una manera que no hemos experimentado aun… ¿no me puedes creer? Dentro de un par de meses te voy a volver a escribir y te voy a preguntar si estas palabras fueron ciertas o no; estamos en un cruce de dirección donde las maravillas de Dios están ya acercándose. ¿Sera que vamos a estar listos para recibir las bendiciones o nos quedáremos en el mismo lugar y la misma rutina? Yo no puedo hablar por ti, pero de mi parte te digo que estoy convencido, que en las semanas por venir, estaré recibiendo tantas bendiciones, ¡que mi bodega no las podrá contener!

       Would you ever go to a supermarket to buy a car? Would you go to a pharmacy to buy clothes? Of course not, doing something like this would be simply silly. So I ask you today: why do we seek salvation from a world of destruction and hopelessness? You may say we don't do this but when we try to find fullness from the things of this world, (including the people) we are doing just that. If we truly seek salvation then we have to go to the appropriate place- GOD!

    ¿Irías a un supermercado para comprar un auto? ¿Irías a una farmacia para comprar ropa? Por supuesto que la respuesta a estas preguntas es NO ya que sería tonto hacerlo. Con esto en mente te pregunto, ¿por qué es que buscamos la salvación de un mundo lleno de destrucción y sin esperanza? Puede ser que estés pensando que en realidad no hacemos esto pero la verdad es que sí lo hacemos cuando buscamos ser llenos de las cosas que este mundo ofrece (esto incluye a las personas que viven en el). Si en realidad queremos ser salvos y satisfechos, tenemos que ir al lugar correcto: ¡DIOS!

      Many of us are currently battling with many things around us. At times it feels like we are drowning because our problems are like water that rises and rises. With all this said its awesome to know that we have a Shield in Jesus! It doesn't mean the attacks wont come but even if they do come we are destined to be victorious. How do I know?        Have you ever heard the expression "Man up"? Reading the verse of the day below you can easily see it’s not a new term but something that has been said since the beginning of time. Why? The reason is actually pretty clear: too many of us are not taking our rightful position because of fear and laziness. Neither of these traits  comes from God!! He did not design us to wait around for someone to do something for us but rather that we be proactive and aggressively radical. Today He reminds us that we need to be in the right position to understand Him and to ask of Him. Time to get in place.

            ¿Alguna vez haz escuchado la expresión “ponte los pantalones”? Cuando leas el versículo en la parte de abajo, te darás cuenta que esta expresión no es nada nueva (aunque no sean la palabras exactas, significa lo mismo), es una expresión que ha sido usada por largo tiempo. ¿Por qué crees que esta expresión ha sido usada por tanto tiempo? La respuesta en si es fácil, muchos de nosotros no hacemos lo que hemos sido llamados ha hacer por temor y también por pereza. ¡Recordemos que ni el temor, ni la pereza vienen de Dios! Dios no nos diseño para que nos sentáramos a esperar a que los demás hagan todo por nosotros; todo lo contrario, ¡El nos diseño para que fuéramos personas productivas y radicales! En el día de hoy el Señor nos recuerda que tenemos que estar en la posición que el nos indicó para poderlo entender y poderle pedir. Llegó el tiempo de hacer ajustes y posicionarnos correctamente.

        Many of us look at the life of Job and we shake our head in seeing his arguments with God. We judge him because we think how dare someone try to fight with God, but don't we all do the same thing every day? It took Job a while before he realized how wrong he was, but ultimately he acknowledged it and that’s all that matters. When he did recognize Gods power there was no limit to what he thought God could do and that is exactly what occurred. Limitless blessings! Do you want limitless blessings? If you do, then it’s time to recognize His ability!

            Muchos de nosotros al analizar la vida de Job, nos asombramos al ver la manera con la que el se expresaba de Dios en muchas ocasiones. Puede ser que hasta lo juzguemos al darnos cuenta que el discutía con Dios, pero a caso, ¿no hacemos nosotros lo mismo día a día? Pasó mucho tiempo antes de que Job se diera cuenta que lo que estaba haciendo no estaba bien, pero al final, el pudo reconocer su error y en realidad es eso lo que cuenta. Cuando Job pudo reconocer el poder de Dios, los límites desaparecieron y fue entonces cuando Job pudo darse cuenta que para Dios no hay ningún imposible y fue esto exactamente lo que comenzó a suceder en su vida. ¡Bendiciones sin Límites! ¿Acaso también deseas recibir bendiciones sin límites? Si tu respuesta es sí, ¡¡llego el tiempo de reconocer las habilidades de Dios!!

     As much as we all feel like times are consistently under tribulation, there does come a downtime occasionally. Many of us during this down time try to hide out and recoup strength and this is good but, ultimately our down times should be used to reorganize our thoughts, refine our vision and establish new trends that will ensure future ease during the challenging times. This is what being proactive is all about, as children of the Most High God we have to begin to prepare ahead of time as our pre-destined blessings and our current state of affairs must align for us to be able to enjoy our time in the land of the living. We should not see joy as something that occurs only when we pass into heaven but something we could partake in today. When we begin to understand these fundamental truths we will begin to enjoy our life, He didn’t make us to suffer, He made us to prosper.

¡Que Dios Te Bendiga!

            Aunque la mayoría del tiempo parece que viviéramos en una constante tribulación, la verdad es que de vez en cuando llegan los momentos de calma y descanso. Muchos de nosotros aprovechamos estos tiempos para alejarnos un poco y recuperar nuestras fuerzas y esto es bueno, pero la realidad es que estos tiempos de descanso deben ser usados para reorganizar nuestros pensamientos, refinar nuestra visión y establecer nuevas costumbres que nos ayuden después cuando regresen los momentos difíciles. ¡Esto es ser una persona proactiva! Como hijos de Dios, el Señor nos enseña a estar bien preparados para recibir todas sus bendiciones pero para que esto suceda, debemos tener todas nuestros asuntos en orden y de esta manera podremos verdaderamente disfrutar lo mejor de Dios en esta vida. No debemos ver la felicidad y el gozo como cosas que solo experimentáremos cuando estemos en el  cielo, sino más bien comencemos a disfrutar de todo esto acá en esta tierra. Cuando comenzamos a entender esta verdad fundamental entonces comenzaremos a disfrutar de la vida. Dios no nos hizo para que sufriéramos, El nos hizo para que fuéramos felices y prósperos.

     Have you ever asked God why He did or why He allowed something to happen? Have you ever done the same to your boss at work, A judge in a court, etc.? I’m sure most of us haven't questioned certain men / women in our lives but I'm also sure we have questioned God! We have all done it, if not with words our actions surely have. The bottom line is if we have been questioning God about something, then it’s time to let it go and simply accept He has our best interest in mind. He is God and that will never change.

   ¿Alguna vez has cuestionado a Dios del porque de ciertas situaciones? ¿Alguna vez has cuestionado a tu jefe de la misma manera? ¿Alguna vez has cuestionado a un juez o alguien de autoridad de la misma manera que cuestionas a Dios?  Estoy seguro que muchos de nosotros jamás nos hemos atrevido a cuestionar a ciertas autoridades humanas pero si hemos cuestionado a Dios en múltiples ocasiones. Todos hemos hechos esto, si no lo hemos hecho de palabra entonces lo hemos hecho con nuestras acciones. El punto de todo esto es simplemente admitir que hemos estado cuestionando a Dios y ha llegado el tiempo de parar esto y simplemente aceptar que Dios nos ama y siempre tiene nuestro bienestar en mente. ¡Dios es Dios y esto jamás cambiara!

    Many people tend to speak exclusively in moments of haste. You can tell this is the case by the reaction and facial expressions of those listening. Believe it or not most of us do this and the reason we do is because we are too busy talking when we should be thinking. Recently I did a demonstration with a list of items that had a very specific direction, above the list, that due to the pressure I presented to them it caused the participants to ignore the directions and simply fulfill the list. It wasn't a bad thing except the instructions advised to read the entire document and the last point stated to ignore the list and sign the paper. The participants reacted but didn't fully study the sheet, therefore the time was elongated to the experiment. This was a lot of fun but in reality we all tend to act or speak to quickly sometimes ignoring the possible consequences, which in turn make things that much worse. The verse today emphasizes how and when we should speak, not in a moment of revenge or anger (reactive) but rather to wait and listen is the best approach. When we wait we have a greater chance of evaluating every scenario and saying the right thing. Beside time what else do we have to lose?

            Muchas personas usualmente hablan como si estuvieran súper afanados. Esto usualmente es fácil de identificar por las expresiones faciales que hacen las personas que los están escuchando. La realidad es que muchos de nosotros hacemos esto; lo hacemos porque estamos muy preocupados hablando rápidamente en vez de estar pensando en lo que vamos a decir. Hace poco hice una demonstración donde entregue una lista de actividades a los participantes, pero todos por el afán de terminar lo que estaba en la lista, no leyeron bien las instrucciones las cuales indicaban leer la lista por completo primero antes de hacer cualquier cosa, el último punto de la lista indicaba que no tenían que hacer nada de lo mencionado, sino simplemente firmar la hoja y devolvérmela. Todos los participantes comenzaron a hacer cantidad de las cosas mencionadas en la lista, pero ninguno siguio los pasos indicados como leer la lista por completo antes de iniciar cualquier actividad; esto causó que el experimento se alargara más de lo que debía. En realidad fue bien gracioso pero a la vez comprobó que hablamos demasiado rápido sin medir las consecuencias de lo que estamos diciendo y muchas veces, empeoramos ciertas situaciones. El versículo de hoy nos recuerda como y cuando debemos hablar; no lo debemos hacer en momentos de rabia o pensando en vengarnos (esto definitivamente tendrá una consecuencia), lo correcto es esperar y escuchar. Cuando aprendemos a esperar, logramos evaluar la situación mucho mejor y esto nos ayuda a decir lo necesario y correcto. Cuando esperamos, ¿qué perdemos aparte de tiempo?

       The only true sign of understanding and wisdom is our ability to display His breath. What is His breath? His inspiration and character. His awesomeness will flow through and about us when His breath is in us, things will happen to us and through us that seem out of this world, because they are! Want to know if this is flowing in you?             La única manera de verdaderamente demonstrar que tenemos la sabiduría y el entendimiento de Dios se encuentra en nuestra habilidad de exhibir su “soplo”. ¿A que me refiero con su “soplo”? Estoy hablando de su  inspiración y su carácter. La hermosura y maravilla de su presencia fluirá dentro y fuera de nosotros cuando el sople sobre nosotros; comenzarán a suceder cosas que parecerán que fueran de otro planeta y la realidad es que serán cosas sobrenaturales. ¿Quieres saber si su presencia esta fluyendo en ti? Mira a tu alrededor y evalúa tus circunstancias, estas te darán la respuesta. ¡Siempre recuerda que Dios juró que te bendeciría!

       Have you ever felt like you should have said something to someone but you didn't and in turn there was a negative outcome for all involved? Why? Many of us will say it would have been out of my place to say something but truth be told if we are aligned with Gods will for our life then is His word not in us? Of course we have to be very careful we don't confuse emotion with His will but if we are aligned then there should never be a reservation in us towards anything. Today’s verse is a perfect example: Elihu doubted himself and the message from God because he saw himself surrounded by "older" more experienced people but, the message from God is not a respecter of age or position, it is what it is! Today I encourage you as I do myself to do two things:

Align ourselves with God and speak the message He has given us! It’s what we have been made for!

            ¿Alguna vez te ha pasado que después de una situación te das cuenta que debiste haber dicho algo específico a alguien y por tu silencio, la situación no se resolvió de manera positiva? ¿Por qué sucede esto? Muchos de nosotros nos sentimos fuera de lugar al decir ciertas cosas pero la realidad es, que si estamos alineados con la perfecta voluntad de Dios, ¿acaso no está su palabra en nosotros? Por supuesto que tenemos que ser bien cuidadosos de no confundir nuestras emociones con la voluntad de Dios, pero regreso a lo que dije antes, si estamos alineados con su voluntad entonces, no deberíamos tener reservaciones para decir o hacer lo que debemos. El versículo de hoy en un ejemplo perfecto de este tema: Eliú dudó de si mismo y también dudo del mensaje que Dios le había dado al encontrarse rodeado de personas mayores y con más experiencia que el. Recordemos que Dios no hace excepción de personas ni por si edad, ni por su genero o posición, el usa al que quiere. En este día los animo a que juntos hagamos dos cosas: ¡primero alineémonos con la voluntad de Dios y segundo, hablemos el mensaje que El nos ha dado! ¡El nos creo para esto!

     Every couple of months we have to take our cars to get an oil change, tune up, rotate tires, etc. Every year we get a physical, go to the dentist, etc. But how many of us are sitting down and evaluating our spiritual condition? How many of us stop and think about our development in the most important part of us? I’m sure in one way or another we can all make assumptions that we have, at one point or another but, do we really invest the adequate amount of time and energy into this part of our life? This goes far beyond just going to church, it is a spiritual gut check that we must all do especially when we see things are going a bit wrong. If we invest time and money into things of this world, how can we not invest time into our spirit?

¡Que Dios Te Bendiga!

            Cada par de meses llevamos a nuestros carros a que les hagan su mantenimiento, cambio de aceite, afinación del motor, rotación de llantas, alineamiento completo, etc.…cada año vamos al medico para hacernos un chequeo anual, al dentista, etc. Ahora déjenme preguntarles, ¿cuántos de nosotros evaluamos nuestra condición espiritual? ¿Cuántos de nosotros nos tomamos un tiempo para analizar como podemos mejorar nuestro crecimiento en la parte más importante de nuestra vida (la espiritual)? Yo se que en un momento u otro, todos podemos asumir que todo esta bien pero, ¿será cierto que invertimos el tiempo y la energía necesaria para mejorar día a día esta parte tan importante de nuestra vida? Esto va mucho más allá de asistir a la iglesia, estoy hablando de un análisis espiritual que todos debemos hacer especialmente si algunas cosas no están bien. Si estamos dispuestos a gastar nuestro tiempo y nuestro dinero en las cosas del mundo, ¿Por qué no invertimos tiempo en nuestro espíritu?

     I come with a simple message for today and it is to keep things moving. Many don’t know the reason the dead sea is “dead”. It is because water comes in but doesn’t go out. Many of us are in the same state, we receive and receive but we simply don’t give anything out. Feel clogged? The reason many of us do is because we are not putting out all the blessings we are getting. Want to know how to change it? This Friday we have an outing to provide food to an area of our community that isn’t as provisionally blessed as many of us that are reading this are, come out and keep things moving! ¡Que Dios Te Bendiga!

            En este día tengo un mensaje muy simple para todos: mantengan todo en movimiento. Hay muchos que no saben el porque el mar muerto es considerado “muerto”, la razón es simple: el agua que entra, no tiene por donde salir. Muchos de nosotros nos encontramos en esta misma situación, recibimos pero simplemente no nos gusta dar. ¿Te sientes estancando? La razón por la cual nos sentimos así es porque no estamos compartiendo con los demás las bendiciones que estamos recibiendo. ¿Deseas saber como podemos cambiar esto? Este viernes, tenemos un evento en la iglesia donde saldremos a repartir comida en ciertas áreas de la comunidad donde sus residentes carecen de ciertas bendiciones materiales de las cuales nosotros si podemos disfrutar, vengan con nosotros y mantengámonos en movimiento, compartiendo la bendición. Dad de lo que tú tienes a aquellos que lo necesitan. Espero verte participando en este evento.

        Wisdom and understanding has less to do with what we know and more to do with what we do. Many get caught up on trying to intellectualize things for the sake of feeling empowered but, these two key points in our growth have  very little to do with our own strength and much to do with recognition of His strength. In Christianity we will find one of the biggest hindrances is the fact that we want to change ourselves rather than allow God to change us, why? I think it can be explained in one sentence: we can’t see Him so we assume He is not at work in us. Am I the only one who has felt this way? I’ll ask you though, do you see your hot water heater as it is tempering the cold water entering it? No, but as we turn the hot water knob do we doubt we will get hot water? Isn't interesting how we can believe in something man creates but have trouble believing in the one who created man himself? We have to get back to the basics and these basics are departing from evil and worshipping and acknowledging the Lord!

            La sabiduría y el entendimiento tienen todo que ver con lo que hacemos y no tanto con lo conocemos o sabemos. Muchos malgastan su energía tratando de sonar intelectuales como si esto les diera una fortaleza interna que en realidad no tienen. La sabiduría y el entendimiento, no tienen nada que ver con nuestras fuerzas si no más bien se trata de reconocer la grandeza y el poderío de Dios. Uno de los obstáculos más grandes que podemos encontrar en nuestra vida cristiana, es el hecho de que constantemente estamos tratando de cambiarnos a si mismos en vez de permitirle a Dios que El sea el que nos cambie. ¿Por qué sucede esto? Creo que lo puedo explicar fácilmente: como no lo podemos ver, asumimos que El no esta trabajando en nosotros. ¿Seré el único que ha pensado esto? Permíteme preguntarte algo, ¿acaso puedes ver como el agua fría entra en tu calentador de agua? ¿Cierto que no? Pero no dudas por un instante que cuando abras la llave del agua caliente, saldrá agua caliente, ¿cierto? No les parece increíble como podemos creer en algo que fue creado por el hombre, pero nos cuesta tanto trabajo creer en aquel que creo al hombre. Tenemos que regresar a lo básico y lo básico es: ¡apartarnos del mal y adorar y reconocer al Señor!

       Have you ever felt like you are getting taken advantage of by others? You get frustrated because it seems like they are prospering but you don't feel the same way about your circumstance. I can’t be the only one, right? So what do we do? Do we complain, moop, grow bitter, get angry, etc. I’m sure many of us do but, that doesn’t make it right. The best approach in this situation is to put things into the right perspective and that is exactly what the verse today teaches us. Sure they may seem to get over but the wicked do not attain prosperity they attain loneliness and despair.  Don't lose hope, your blessing is on its way!

 ¡Que Dios Te Bendiga!

            ¿Alguna vez has sentido como si los demás abusaran de ti, como si se aprovecharan de ti? Al mismo tiempo te sientes frustrado porque notas como los demás van prosperando mientras que tú, estas estancado en tus circunstancias. Dudo que yo sea el único al cual le ha sucedido esto. Entonces, ¿qué hacemos cuando esto sucede? Usualmente nos quejamos, nos amargamos, nos enojamos, etc. Desafortunadamente no logramos absolutamente nada bueno con estos sentimientos.  Lo mejor que podemos hacer es poner la situación bajo la perspectiva correcta; es esto de lo que habla el versículo de hoy. Puede ser que aparentemente tu enemigo este prosperando pero recordemos que el malvado no será prospero, ellos recibirán soledad y desesperación. No pierdas la esperanza, ¡tú bendición viene en camino!

       Today’s verse finds Job in a very difficult time.  During this time in the life of Job he was able to return to his foundation and beliefs. Sure he was upset at what was happening to him and sure he felt horrible but he wasn't willing to sit there and hear people condemn him and remain quiet. He dug deep in that moment and reminded himself and those around him that God would not forget or fail him! He proclaimed that one way or another he would see God face to face and it didn't matter what the price for that experience was he was going to pay it. Are you in that place today? If you are I encourage you to dig deep and push past negativity so you can also proclaim and enjoy His presence as Job did. What do you lose in trying?

            En el versículo de hoy podemos ver que Job estaba pasando por un momento muy difícil en su vida, pero fue en este tiempo difícil donde el pudo regresar a sus raíces y creencias. Por supuesto que Job estaba bien molesto por lo que le estaba sucediendo y se sentía terrible; sin embargo, el no estaba dispuesto a quedarse quieto, sentado y callado mientras los demás lo condenaban y hablaban de el. El escudriñó en lo más profundo de su ser y comenzó a recordarle a los demás y así mismo que Dios no se olvidaría de el y que jamás lo dejaría solo. Job comenzó a proclamar que de una manera u otra, el vería a Dios cara a cara y no le importaba el precio que tuviera que pagar. ¿Será que te encuentras en una posición similar? En caso que tu respuesta sea que sí, te animó a que te esfuerces y dejes la negatividad a un lado y comiences a reclamar y disfrutar la presencia de Dios de igual manera que hizo Job. ¿Qué tienes que perder al tratarlo?
