God bless!

Isn’t interesting how our moods can change from one second to another based upon a bit of information? We hear, we react, we pout. What if we changed our routine? What if when we were pushed by life, we pushed back? What if when we were told all was bad we made things better? What if when we were told it was over we made plans for the future? I know my “What if’s” sound a bit unrealistic but who’s reality are we going to believe? If your car broke down and didn’t want to turn on, would you walk away from it or take it to the dealer and get it fixed? If the dealer said it would work, would you believe him? Now, if God is our Creator then will we believe the effects of the creation on us or the Word of the Creator? Does He not know our ins and outs? Does He not know the end of the story? So why worry? If life gives you lemons then squeeze the juice out and add some sugar into that lemon juice called life and believe the Master juice maker (God)! Enough questions enjoy your day!

Making some of my own lemon juice,

In life I think we will all agree that whatever we want, we have to work to obtain. It’s a fact of life, when we embrace it we stop complaining and start pressing in and begin to see the success we have desired. So why the obvious this morning? The same principal applies to change in our lives, we won’t change if we don’t work for it. You can’t expect a form of osmosis to occur in your life, you have to stop yourself from doing the things you know are wrong. We can’t co-habitat with those things that are bringing us down and expect change. Want to change? Then be radical and change your routine. Start today, do something different in an area that hasn’t worked and keep trying something different until you get the result you desire. What do you have to lose besides agita and failure? You were not formed to fail!

God Bless You!

One that acquires by force, that wins a war, that overcomes tough situations no matter what the obstacles are, one that conquers an enemy, one that gains a victory, one that looks beyond his or her fears and still succeeds…Who am I talking about today? I am talking about YOU & ME!!! Yes I am!! These are just some of the definitions of a CONQUEROR and today God wants to remind all of us that “in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us" Romans 8:37.

I know it sounds amazing and powerful when we read it and all of a sudden we feel a boost of energy that helps us move forward in the battlefield even if we are crawling but it doesn't come easy or without a price and many of us find ourselves in battles where we feel extremely weak and drained. It’s possible that everything we know God has told us and promised us is a blur right now triggered by all the fumes the enemy's fire has caused but what we need to remember today is that ALL the promises are still there, God has not retrieved his Word; he never has and never will!! It’s all about perspective and which “spiritual glasses” we are using to see our goal or promise. Ask God to lend you his “binoculars” (a handheld optical instrument which increases or magnifies things). You
will see how all of his promises are still there and how we are the winners, the conquerors, the champions, the victors!! How? Through God’s strength (not our own). So let’s not let our weariness, our blurred vision, or whatever else we are experiencing deter us from the goal (I know it’s not easy but we could do this together), it won’t be through our strength but his!! He will give us his strength, He will protect us, He will provide, He will destroy the weapons formed against us, He will confuse the enemy…Remember, in order to move from victory to victory we must go from battle to battle (Selah). WE ARE MORE THAN CONQUERORS!!

There is no greater feeling in life than peace. That feeling of completeness and rest that is like no other. We all strive for that peace but have you noticed how when we find peace in an area of our life we seem to sabotage another area in our life and the cycle starts all over again? If not you then I certainly do. It becomes very frustrating at times but I know that the verse below is a promise from Him to me (and you!). He has promised to give us peace all around, without limits and restrictions. He has promised to bring overflow into our life with His presence and love. What seems to stop His promise in certain areas of our life? Lack of faith! Believe with me today that all the impossible will become possible today! That all the incomplete things in life will find completion today. Why today you may ask? I'll answer that with another question: Why not?

God Bless You!

God is waiting to hear our voice, no specific time and no specific place…He yearns to hear you and me speak to him. Just like in any other relationship, if there is no communication or poor communication our relationship will start to get rocky...the big difference is that He will never break up with us; it is usually us that decide we need a “break” to think things through Lol. As our loving and amazing Heavenly Father his patience is unmeasurable; He wants to be in constant communication with us no matter what is happening in our lives. He wants us to seek his wisdom and guidance especially when we need to make decisions. Decisions come in all shapes, sizes, and colors…some are simple and some are extremely complex but all we have to do is talk to God about them. We shouldn’t give him a “decision report” and just tell Him: I’ve decided to do this and that, please bless me and that’s it. What happened to asking God for His guidance, for his opinion, for His permission? Aren’t his ways always better than ours? Let’s remember that every action has a reaction, every decision has a consequence. The things we do have consequences as well as the things we don’t do. We should analyze our decision making process and consider calling out to Him as our first step (He is the best consultant and counselor we will ever have). He will answer!! The answer may be what we want to hear and other times maybe not but if we seek Him and call out to Him, He will guide us and tell us “great and mighty things” only He knows and these in return, will help us be better decision makers, better Christians, better parents, better children, better employees, better everything…they will make us wiser!

 Pastor Laura Palacios

Jeremiah 33:3 “Call to Me and I will answer you and show you great and mighty things, fenced in and hidden, which you do not know (do not distinguish and recognize, have knowledge of and understand).”

1 Corinthians 13: 4-8

4Love endures long and is patient and kind; love never is envious nor boils over with jealousy, is not boastful or vainglorious, does not display itself haughtily.

It is not conceited (arrogant and inflated with pride); it is not rude (unmannerly) and does not act unbecomingly. Love (God’s love in us) does not insist on its own rights or its own way, for it is not self-seeking; it is not touchy or fretful or resentful; it takes no account of the evil done to it [it pays no attention to a suffered wrong].

It does not rejoice at injustice and unrighteousness, but rejoices when right and truth prevail.

Love bears up under anything and everything that comes, is ever ready to believe the best of every person, its hopes are fadeless under all circumstances, and it endures everything [without weakening].

Love never fails [never fades out or becomes obsolete or comes to an end]. As for prophecy ([d]the gift of interpreting the divine will and purpose), it will be fulfilled and pass away; as for tongues, they will be destroyed and cease; as for knowledge, it will pass away [it will lose its value and be superseded by truth].

Many people try to explain problems by assigning fault or sin, is that really necessary? We spend so much time blaming our parents, ex loved ones, pastors (oh yea I said it!), friends, enemies, etc. That we completely lose touch with the fact that every obstacle is an opportunity to see greatness! What greatness you may ask? The works of God being displayed in and through us is what I'm referring to. Don't you want to be used by God? Don't you want to experience His miracle power in and through you? Then we need to begin to look at adversity as a stepping stone to greatness. Did Jesus look at the cross as a curse or a blessing? Did Jesus look at Judas as an enemy or an avenue to complete the will of the Father? What do we look at those Judas mentalities that are around us as? Time to figure out that the devil is a stimulant of our growth not a taker of our joy. No one can take our joy only we can let it go.

Pastor Joell A. Perez

“Neither this man nor his parents sinned,” said Jesus, “but this happened so that the works of God might be displayed in him. (John 9:3 NIV)

As much as at times of desperation it may seem like He’s not around it’s important we look past the negative and realize He is alive! He hasn’t forgotten you and He hasn’t forgotten your dilemma but He does realize just how much you can handle. He sent this message to us today so that we don’t despair but rather we reboot our heart and realize He has never failed us before and He won’t start now. Reconnect with the Truth and it will make you free!

Have you ever felt hopeless? Have you ever felt like nothing would ever change in your life? If you can relate to this then I have good news for you, your feelings were wrong. The key in getting things to the point we desire them is to eliminate our “feelings” from the equation and insert Gods ability. Our feelings are the reason that many of us shift out of our predestined position. We were created to thrive not dive! The problem is our emotions lead us to try to think for God and try to convince Him to do what we want instead of us realizing how important it is to follow His lead. Emotions create valleys of desperation that we can’t afford to enter if we want to be successful and happy. I’m not saying all emotions are bad (please don’t get this wrong), I’m just saying the emotions that deviate our faith in His power are bad. How do we tell the difference? Read the Bible because in it we will find the line in which we need to walk in order to be successful. Emotions that drive us to do anything against His will are wrong, no exception. So the way to be successful and to find happiness is found in the most important book left to man by God. The Bible.

Make sense?

Many times in life we have falls, we make mistakes, we make the wrong decisions, etc. Most of us will unfortunately sit and wait for something to change without making any efforts of our own. The truth is nothing will change unless we stimulate it to happen. How do we start this process? Get up! We need to stop “sitting on the job” as they say and take the issue by force. We have to make some radical decisions and push forward. I encourage you today as I do myself to keep our eye on the prize and not let anything change your decision to change! What do you have to lose? If there was good in the situation we wouldn’t complain about it, would we?

God bless!

Have you ever felt like you walked to far away from God to make it back to Him? What changed your course or mind? Most of us will say we had some kind of encounter with God through a person or church that led us back to the "Truth"  therefore setting us free. Has that happened to you? Or maybe you were that person that helped someone else get back to Him, no matter what part you filled in this scenario it's important to understand that the role of that person that turns a sinner from evil is in high demand today. What do I mean by this? There are too few people today attempting to bring anyone back from error simply out of fear of offending someone. So let them get lost instead? It doesn't make sense does it? The role of this person is one that needs to be resurrected in the church NOW! If we don't begin to fill this role we will see many people fall out of love and others fall into a state of pure hopelessness. What love? Gods love! If we don't extend what we have received we will become stagnant and notice our growth come to an end. The great news is today is the perfect day to start fresh, that person that God has been putting in your heart to pray for or approach is waiting on the salvation that you have been gifted. It's time to spread the love!

Pastor Joell A. Perez

[My] brethren, if anyone among you strays from the Truth and falls into error and another [person] brings him back [to God], Let the [latter] one be sure that whoever turns a sinner from his evil course will save [that one's] soul from death and will cover a multitude of sins [procure the pardon of the many sins committed by the convert]. (James 5:19-20 AMP)

A prayer of faith, all it takes is a prayer of faith! Keep in mind I'm not saying just a prayer but a prayer of faith. A prayer without doubt, a prayer of hope, a prayer of Truth. Name your issue and address it with this true prayer and you will notice the issue will dissolve like a cloud in the presence of the Son. Yes the Son (Jesus)! His presence is found in that prayer of faith as He is the monument of faith that God has prepared for our edification. Don't believe me? Read the verse below and walk in the path He laid out for you. You healing, your peace, your love, your salvation awaits!

Pastor Joell A. Perez

And the prayer [that is] of faith will save him who is sick, and the Lord will restore him; and if he has committed sins, he will be forgiven. (James 5:15 AMP)

Dear friends,

How many of you have been counseled numerous times and in different instances to never trust anyone? Do it yourself? Don’t relay on anyone? If you want something done do it yourself? What do all of these expressions have in common? As you all have read the word (Yourself). These words and this way of life are something none of us choose even though it might seem that way, but instead we were programmed and conditioned to adopt this form of life style. This advice leaves us in a very lonely and vulnerable place. I don’t know about you but I don’t enjoy being alone or doing it alone or suffering to myself and never having someone to vent to or give me a hand when I am in over my head. And why is it that we were taught to be this way? Because someone was hurt, betrayed, abandoned, rejected, abused and the list goes on and because of this we are taught to do the same. The scary part is we are taught to not trust anyone, even though the offense was not from everyone, but instead from maybe one person or a selected few. We are taught never to let our guard down or let anyone in or trust anyone, so we walk around feeling sad and alone and confused and in desperate need of help, but never seek it and instead drown in the process because of what we were programmed to believe.

I do not discount that there are awful, mean and deceitful people out there only looking for their best interest, but if we walk around always guarding and never allowing anyone in to our world, then how will we ever find true love, a true friend and The True God of our salvation? I speak from a person that has been there and done that and a person whose faith has faltered many times, but with every heart ache, betrayal, abandonment, hurt, rejection, I also found, true love, true support, true friends and the one and only True God! Don’t base your life on someone else’s pain or experience or on the lives of people around you. Try it for yourself, experience it for yourself, seek for yourself and know for yourself that God is real and He wants you to challenge His power and know that He is real! When you are able to lean on Him (God) and stop doing it alone, you will then find an answer to everything else you have been seeking (Matthew 6:33). Remember the animal who becomes prey to a predator is the one who left the herd (the bunch, the covering, the protection) and wondered off alone into the wilderness! There is power in numbers and there is power in God who strengthens you and not in you leaning on you.

Here I am leaning on You Lord, Pastor Elizabeth Z. Perez

Proverbs 3:5 "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding;"
