God bless,

During these days of festivities let's remember who should be first in our mind, heart and soul. We lose sleep to get the best deals and endure cold and chaos just to save some money, so let us stretch that same fervor and endurance for the One who gave it all, endured it all and suffered it all for you and for me!

Seek Him first and He will give you everything else you may need, He's got the best deal that will even give you V.I.P into heaven!

Pastor Elizabeth Z. Perez

Matthew 6:33 "But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well."

God bless,

God is great and merciful and giving! He gave us the greatest gift known to man, He gave us His only Son because He first loved us even before we exsisted. How amazing is His heart towards us and all He asks of us is our heart. Let's remember to give Him back just a little of the much He has alrady given us. Let's visit Him at His house (church) not just when we need something, but just because we are thankful for what He has already given us!

Thank You Lord, P.Elizabeth Perez

Psalm 100:4 "Enter his gates with thanksgiving and his courts with praise; give thanks to him and praise his name."

God bless!

In this holiday weekend let’s not forget to make some time to thank Him for all we have. No matter how little or how much we think it is, if it wasn’t for Him we wouldn’t have it. Thank you Lord for all you do!

God Bless You!

We wouldn’t wear sandals on this frigid cold weather (New Yorkers could relate) right? The same way we wouldn’t wear snow boots if we were heading out to the beach… I ask all of us today: What kind of shoes are we wearing? And I am not referring to the physical shoes we wear on our feet; I am referring to our spiritual shoes…yes, each one of us have them. Are we wearing the shoes God designed for us or did we leave the ones God gave us in the closet? For some of us they may feel tight or maybe loose, maybe we don’t like the color, or the style, or the material or maybe they cause blisters or make us walk funny but, these will train us and sustain us through all the different journeys and all the different spiritual climates we will face. They will be the perfect fit for us to climb those mountains (obstacles); they will allow us to run straight into the victory line! God has a perfect plan for each one of us and he has equipped us with everything we need to fulfill each task he has entrusted us with. If we try doing things our way we will only make it harder for us but if we decide to walk in his path and with his “spiritual shoes” on, even if they don’t feel comfortable now, together with Jesus we will “break-them-in” and they will be our favorite pair. Let’s stop picking and choosing the parts from the Bible we like as if we were shoe shopping; as true Christians we cannot pick what we like, we need to follow EVERYTHING he asks of us…not because God wants to be mean and just give us orders but because only He knows what is best for us and he knows exactly what shoes we need for the road ahead.

God Bless You!

How much do you have in your bank account? I am pretty sure that most of us could give a pretty accurate estimate of what we have in those accounts without even looking at the actual information on paper or online. We tend to know where we are financially whether we disclose that info to others or not, whether we are real or not about our finances…Deep inside, we know the truth! Most of us are clearly aware if we are able to write a check for $10, $1,000, $10,000 or whatever other amount, we know if these checks will clear or if they will bounce. Why do I talk about finances today? No, no, no, I’m not trying to convince you to give a bigger offering even though that wouldn’t be a bad idea Lol…Believe it or not the same way we know deep inside where we stand financially, we also know where we stand spiritually. We know if we have made enough deposits into our relationship with God, we know if our withdrawals exceed our deposits. Have we exhausted our “spiritual funds” to the point where some things may start bouncing? Selah…Let’s be real, God’s love, grace, favor, mercy, and blessings have no limit (THANK GOD!!) but there is only so much we could withdraw before we start being hit with some fees. Is God going to charge us a fee if we don’t maintain a close relationship with him? Of course not, but the fruit in our life will be the best “account statement” to our spiritual status. We could pretend to be “rich” financially and spiritually all we want but us and God know the truth…let’s run a spiritual analysis the same way we would do with our bank accounts…let’s be real first with God and then, with ourselves. Invest into your future!!

Doing good usually doesn't feel good. Why? The answer is our carnal nature. Our carnal nature drives us to do things that are not in His will. It drives us to see the things He desires as hard or even impossible. His word though not easy to apply (can we be real!) is 100% right. Doing the right thing is the RIGHT thing. No matter how much it may appear to hurt, how dumb we may feel at times doing it or how much we struggle in seeing it through, at the end of the day doing good is the right thing to do. Trust He has your best interest in mind because He put His Sons life on the line to prove just that!

Is God’s love conditional? Of course not! But our love is... The verse below almost makes it sound as if we have to do something to get something with God but if we read it closely it actually has to do with our acceptance of Him rather than His acceptance of us. To break it down, we have to delight and or accept Him to be able to accept gifts from Him. Are we stopping our promise from being fulfilled because we are not truly accepting His help? Hmm... I guess it makes a lot of sense if you stop and ponder it, would you accept a gift from an enemy? Weren't we taught as kids to avoid and not take gifts from strangers? Is He a stranger to us? If our relationship with Him is not real or simply religious, can we expect His promises? I know I'm asking a lot of questions today but how many of us are not quietly upset at God because we "don’t" have what He promised? How many of us don't "avoid" Him because we are angry and feel left alone? How many of us walk away from our call because we feel He isn't living up to His part? I know for many of us it will be hard to admit the before mentioned and that difficulty will prove to delay further the fulfillment of our promise. We have to come to terms with God! When we do we will accept and delight in Him and will begin to see His flood gates of blessings open up over us!

Pastor Joell A. Perez

Take delight in the Lord, and he will give you the desires of your heart. (Psalm 37:4 NIV)

They say your first love is one you will never forget. It doesn't matter how happy you may become with someone else because at the end of the day that memory of your first love will remain always. Though the memory remains for the most part none of us will ever pursue it. It's likely because we feel like things have changed, situations are different, they have commitments, etc. Do we visualize the same with our first Spiritual love? Could that be the reason many of us stray and can't seem to find it within ourselves to make our way back to Him? If that is the case for you then know this: He awaits you with arms wide open. His commitment is to get you back. You are His love and He wanted to let you know today that the doors of His heart are open to you. Don't delay as leaving your first love sets you eternity up for disaster.

Pastor Joell A. Perez

Yet I hold this against you: You have forsaken the love you had at first. (Revelation 2:4 NIV)

Do you want to be broke? Do you want to have lack? Of course not! With that said it's important to understand that unless we are teachable we will never enter into true prosperity. Now many people get this wrong because they focus on trying to be teachable before God but neglect to be teachable before man. What do I mean? Many times God will use man to teach us but we are closed up and the lesson goes unlearned. Remember any correction or instruction that is Bible based is good no matter who it comes from. The moral today is simple, let's learn from anything or anyone that leads us to good. Don't look at the outside of someone when evaluating their input but rather hear their testimony and decide. The proof is in the fruit...

Pastor Joell A. Perez

Poverty and shame come to him who refuses instruction and correction, but he who heeds reproof is honored. (Proverbs 13:18 AMP)

Do you have a call over your life? Has God told you that He would use you? Have you been anointed for service in His house? If you answered yes then I encourage you to read the verse below and study the entire chapter it's found in. Why? The story is all about people who were invited by The Master but found more important things to do instead of feast with Him. You may think "what's the big deal, it's only food?". When we think like this we obviously don't get relationships, it's not the feast that's important, it's the priority. Can you imagine being in Gods shoes, after giving your only Son, creating the world for us and doing all the other things He does every moment of our life for us and we can't prioritize Him? Thank God for His Grace!! The moral today is simply don't take your invite for granted because His house will be filled either with us or without us. I can't speak for you but I want in!!

Pastor Joell A. Perez

For I tell you, not one of those who were invited shall taste my supper. (Luke 14:24 AMP)

In life the most successful people share a common desire, that desire is to produce. Though from the outside many people may think “they already have so much” but in most of their minds they simply don’t. Is this ambition or desire bad? Anything in extreme can cause problems but the truth is that there is a lesson to be learned through this ambition, that lesson is that we need to appreciate the things in life that produce. There are many producing factors in life and there are also many factors that devour our production. To gain success whether it be physical or spiritual we need to be good managers of our life and put aside the non-producing things and steer towards those that produce. The verse today speaks of a very interesting thing that many of us have: “Suffering”. The verse actually states that “Suffering” produces “Perseverance”. Am I saying we should desire “suffering”? Yes and no. Yes we should desire it because it leads to great rewards but no because we shouldn’t let it lead us to a place of despair. So how do we choose which way to apply it? The only way that we can choose the direction to be led by perseverance is by laboring towards the direction we desire. There is a saying about water, it travels to the places of least resistance. In other words: it goes where nothing tries to stop it. We can’t be like water! As Christians we actually have to do the complete opposite, we have to travel the path of most resistance because when we are able to succeed in that path we will find ourselves on the road to Heaven. There is no “Easy” way to Heaven, just like there is no such thing as “Easy” money or an “Easy” relationship. Anything worth having has to be worked for! Want to be known as a person that perseveres? Then let's suck it up and realize that whatever suffering we are dealing with will only lead us to a place of prosperity.

Taking a deep breath and realizing that there is no devil in hell that will take my JOY away!

Pastor Joell A. Perez

Ever thought of love in a moment of correction? I doubt any of us feel love when being corrected but, that doesn't mean that's not the motive behind correction. Motives are the fuel that propels us along this path of life. It's the reason we do everything we do. Whether it be something good or something bad. Have you ever experienced something that appeared to be good but the motives behind it were discovered to be bad? (Ex partners are specialist in this area :). As a parent (old school type that I am) there were moments I had to discipline my children in a way that I didn't like but I realized it was the only way the message would get across. After time passed my kids have each taken the opportunity to say "thanks for disciplining us". I'm sure in the moment it was happening it was the furthest thing in their mind but as time progressed they realized it wasn't to harm but rather to help them. God maintains the same concept of discipline, not necessarily by "spanking" us but rather by allowing us to be spanked by this world. Are you getting a spanking by this world today? If you answer yes then it's time to recognize where you are in the progress and realize that these moments are for your edification not your destruction! As a Father that loves you He has allowed you to try things your way but His arms are held wide open awaiting your return. He delights in you!!

Pastor Joell A. Perez

For whom the Lord loves He corrects, even as a father corrects the son in whom he delights. (Proverbs 3:12 AMP)

God Bless You!

The Word of God gives us multiple examples of sowing and the amazing rewards of giving. The key element when we give to others just like all other aspects of Christianity is that we do it in love and from a grateful heart for all God has already done for us and given us. God has given all of us some truly amazing promises and the one we see in today’s verse is that “we will lack nothing” if we help the needy. It sounds simple, doesn’t it? The hard part is not doing the actual “giving”, is the motive behind it which only God can see. Let’s remember that it only counts in God’s eyes if we do it from the heart, not expecting anything in return, not expecting praise or acknowledgement from others. Humans can be “poor” in so many different ways (it’s not always physical) and we as children of God have so much to offer. Let’s ask God to show us the needs around us and let’s do what were called to do. As we meditate on this today we cannot ignore the second part of today’s verse. If we pretend not to see the need, if we ignore it and just leave it for the next Christian that walks by, we may be cursing ourselves…Selah…

Pastor Laura Palacios

Proverbs 28:27 (NIV) “Those who give to the poor will lack nothing, but those who close their eyes to them receive many curses.”

Ever wondered if God really wanted to bless you? Ever thought: maybe He just doesn't care? I know I'm rattling some religious cages but can we be real? Can we stop trying to be "super Christians" and acknowledge the truth that at times we are simply to tired, to angry or to frustrated to believe? I know, maybe it's just me. The truth is that if you can relate to the feelings or sentiment that I just expressed then this word is for you and I. He wants us to know that HE is willing! He hasn't forgotten! He will never deny us! It's that simple. Today as we lay with whatever spiritual or physical condition we are dealing with it's imperative we know that not only does He have the power but He also has the desire to satisfy our every need! Watch your issue immediately leave you today! In Jesus Name!!

Pastor Joell A. Perez

And [Jesus] reached out His hand and touched him, saying, I am willing; be cleansed! And immediately the leprosy left him. (Luke 5:13 AMP)

There is no greater drive than that of hunger to mankind. It pushes us to get places, deny things and simply prioritize it over everything. When we are hungry we seek change, the verse today talks about Jesus's time in the wilderness and how He was tested by the devil. When the test was complete it states "He was hungry". He made it through but the test actually increased His hunger. I know most of us see these tests as bad things but they are actually stimulants that push us to the next level of prosperity. You could never TESTify unless you've been through a TEST! Your hunger is evidence of your victory (WHAT??), your hunger means you have been sustained during the hardest time and you are still alive! Don't look down at your circumstance, look forward to your hunger... Your next promotion depends on it!

Pastor Joell A. Perez

For (during) forty days in the wilderness (desert), where He was tempted (tried, tested exceedingly) by the devil. And He ate nothing during those days, and when they were completed, He was hungry. Luke 4:2 AMP

God bless,

You are not a coward!! You are not a looser!! You are not a quitter!! You are not a wimp!! You do not lack courage!! You are not shy!! You are not easily alarmed!! You are not easily intimidated!! Fear and doubt do not describe you; these are total antonyms (opposites) when it comes to words that describe you!! How do I know this? Why am I saying this? Because today’s verse reminds all of us that God has given us His Spirit!! Yes He has and His Spirit is ALL-POWERFUL!! His Spirit is mighty, loving, peaceful, balanced, and disciplined therefore; these are qualities we possess as children of the Most High God! Let’s not overlook that the beginning of the verse tells us: “For God did not give us”, if God doesn’t give us something then, who do you think does? You guessed right…the enemy does! He tries to instill fear and doubt in our minds and hearts from the very beginning. He wants us to feel fear, defeat, loss, anxiety, distress, sorrow, anger, pain and many other traits that only come from him…He is the looser!! We are victors through the power of Christ in us and through us!! Let’s start our day recognizing that nothing bad comes from God, He always wants for us to have his qualities and no one else’s.

Pastor Laura Palacios

2 Timothy 1:7 (AMP) “For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.”

Why are we always in such a hurry! It seems we have lost the ability to truly appreciate life because we are rushing to get to the next chapter of our existence. Is it society today? No! The verse below shows how even in the times of Jesus humanity was always in a rush! I don't know about you but I abhor the rush! For those who know me they may be scratching their heads, but just because I'm always in a hurry doesn't mean I enjoy it. Many of us rush past all of our enjoyment, gifts and blessings because we want things now. Sometimes time increases the flavor of an item. Like wine or cheese that is aged and increases in value and taste, so is life when we allow it to develop at its precise time. Don't rush your promise! Let it come as God had designated, His time is perfect...

Pastor Joell A. Perez

There are no secrets with God. Though many of us want to complicate His will and make it "Deep", it really isn't. He is simple and to the point. The verse today confirms the past (yours and mine) has come and gone and it tells you that new things are on their way. The great part is He emphasizes before they come, He will tell us about them. Why? I believe it's God just making sure we don't think our blessings come from our own doing. Whatever blessings we have we must be clear and know they only come from Him! Be on the alert as new things are coming!

Pastor Joell A. Perez

God Bless You!

In past days if we had to get somewhere we were not familiar with we would use maps or even call in advance for directions (I know it seems like forever since the last time we did that or maybe, I am just getting too old Lol). Today thanks to all of technology’s advances we simply use a GPS system, whether it is an actual GPS device, or the many GPS apps most smartphones offer nowadays. When we need to go somewhere unfamiliar we input our destination info and press “Go”, we then hear that robotic voice start giving us directions and we just follow, and follow, and follow even when it sends us through detours, even when we think it may be taking us in the wrong direction but we still follow. Why am I talking about GPS’ today? It’s very simple…all of the directions we need for this journey called life are in God’s Word…yes, yes, the BIBLE!! The Bible and Jesus are our GPS system!! The Bible has the directions and Jesus is the voice we need to follow (the only voice we should follow…Selah). The Word of God tells us how to receive peace, how to increase our faith, how to free ourselves from the bondage of our past, how to receive healing, how to receive the gift of eternal life, how to get rid of our doubts and fears, it tells us how to live a healthy life, how to bless our future generations. It gives us the instructions for a happy marriage, a successful career, how to have fruitful finances, how to have an efficient ministry, etc. We all have access to this amazing GPS system! Let’s not ignore it trying to face today’s tasks on our own, thinking that we know how to get to our destinations without Jesus’ help …Jesus is the only way! Let’s use His directions and share them with all of those that may be lost along our journey.
