Isn't it interesting how as humans we are constantly looking forward to a
"break". We count down the days till our vacations, we count down the days till
the weekend and we count down the minutes till lunch time and 5 o'clock! Were
we created to rest? Were we created to simply withdraw and not deposit?
As humans it seems like since we can remember all we hear around us
is "I can't wait for." (you fill in your desire here). But is that all
life is about? No, it isn't. We were created for greater things than we have
achieved and we most certainly won't accomplish them by seeking to rest. Want
to know why things haven't gotten better in our lives? We stopped reaching out
to His little ones. Thank God for His grace and forgiveness. On the brighter
side there is no better day than today to start to turn things around. Don't
think you can do it? I have good news for you, He promises you can!
