Like anything else in life we will find what we are looking for. If we seek good we will find good but if we seek wrong we will find wrong. Though this sounds like a fair statement many of us don't seem to apply it to our own lives and the verse today confirms the before mentioned. If we want to be favored of the Lord then it's our time to seek His favor, seek His face. How do we do it? Praying, fasting, churching.... We are not going to find God in the motel, we won't find God in the bar, we won't find God in the place of sin (of course God is everywhere as the bible states but the point I'm making is we are not going to go to a bar to seek the mind of God (example)). So the skinny of this message today is simply that we seek after Him if we want to find Him.....

En esta vida por lo general, encontramos lo que verdaderamente buscamos. Si buscamos el bien, encontraremos el bien; con esto en mente lo opuesto también es cierto, si buscamos el mal, también lo encontráremos. Aunque esto suene como algo simple de entender y como algo justo, la realidad es que muchos de nosotros no aplicamos este principio en nuestras vidas y el versículo de hoy lo confirma. Si queremos obtener el "favor" de Dios, tenemos que buscarlo, tenemos que buscar su rostro (su presencia). ¿Cómo lo hacemos? Orando, ayunando, congregándonos. No vamos a encontrar a Dios en un motel, no vamos a encontrarlo en un bar, no lo vamos a encontrar en un lugar donde reine el pecado (por supuesto que Dios esta en todo lugar como nos dice su Palabra, pero mi punto con estos ejemplos es que esos lugares no son lugares donde encontraremos la presencia de Dios). Con esto dicho, termino diciendo lo siguiente; busquemos a Dios, sí realmente queremos encontrarnos con El.
