As much as it bothers most of us to work, it is a necessary function in the life of all humanity. Many people over the years have tried to find "easy fixes" to achieve a level of prosperity but without the efforts that come along with working. As much as this prospect sounds great it is unrealistic. Even quick money schemes involve work and effort, most people don't realize it but behind everything there is an effort involved to produce. So why is this important today? Scripture shows us in today's verse that it is necessary for us to Till our land if we desire to be pleased. We have to work because if we don't we are simply chasing a worthless pursuit. I know most of us don't want to hear this (trust me I don't!) but it lacks sense and understanding to assume we will become prosperous simply because we are children of God or we think we are smart, good looking, etc. We have to invest our hearts into whatever it is we choose to do. The question today is are we up for it or will we continue chasing dreams?
Proverbs 12:11 "He who tills his land shall be satisfied with bread, but he who follows worthless pursuits is lacking in sense and is without understanding."

Por más que nos moleste el sentirnos obligados a trabajar, el trabajo es una función muy necesaria en nuestro diario; todo la humanidad, sin importar cultura o sociedad pasa por lo mismo. A través de los años he observado que muchos dedican más tiempo buscando "una manera fácil" de producir un alto estatus financiero que les traiga prosperidad que en buscar una manera honesta de trabajar y ser personas eficientes. Por más que persigan esa "manera fácil" de ser prósperos, la realidad es, que eso no es prudente ni razonable. Aún los que conspiran planes para hacer dinero rápido, tienen que trabajar para maquinar sus planes. Si aún no te has dado cuenta, detrás de todo lo que hacemos para ser personas productivas existe un esfuerzo. ¿Por qué es importante que todos entendamos este principio? El versículo de hoy nos recuerda que tenemos que labrar nuestra tierra para disfrutar de una buena cosecha. Tenemos que trabajar y debemos hacerlo con una buena actitud y ánimo, porque si no lo hacemos así, simplemente estamos en una búsqueda de prosperidad sin valor. Se que muchos no queremos tener que escuchar esto (créanme que yo tampoco), pero la realidad es que es inmaduro e insensato pensar que simplemente por ser hijos de Dios, o por ser inteligentes, o por ser guapos entre otras cosas, llegáremos a ser prósperos sin poner o hacer nuestra parte. Sea lo que sea que tenemos que hacer en nuestros trabajos, tenemos que ponerle todas nuestras ganas, energía y corazón. Mi pregunta en este día es, ¿estamos dispuestos a trabajar arduamente para ver nuestros sueños hechos realidad o simplemente queremos perseguir sueños en nuestra mente?
