Wouldn't it be awesome to have something special in our possession that made us untouchable, unbeatable, indestructible? Almost like a superhero on TV or in the movies, having the ability to do the unexpected and unimaginable, any takers? I'm sure most of us would sign up in a heartbeat to have this ability and today's verse reminds us that we have this ability at our finger tips. How you may ask? It is all in the fear of the Lord, not fear like being scared but rather the fear in reverence and respect. I know we all say we respect the Lord but do we really? The only true way to express respect is by listening and obeying and truth be told we all fail in this area. The verse today confirms that if we fear the Lord we will be able to rest content and be untouchable by trouble, is our pride worth us not resting? Is our pride worth us being in problems continuously? I didn't think so, it's time to put on your superhero armor, what is it you ask? The armor of God!

¡Que Dios Te Bendiga!
¿No seria maravilloso tener el poder de convertirnos en personas invencibles, indestructible, intocables, e insuperables? Prácticamente como los súper héroes que vemos en las películas o programas de televisión; seria genial el poder tener la habilidad de hacer lo inesperado e inconcebible para los demás, ¿no te parece que sí? ¿Te gustaría tener estos poderes u otros similares? Estoy convencido que la mayoría de nosotros alzaría la mano rápidamente si alguien estuviese regalando estos poderes. Lo interesante es, que el versículo de este día nos recuerda a todos que la realidad es que todos tenemos habilidades similares a las mencionadas a nuestro alcance. Lo más seguro te estas preguntado ¿pero cómo? Todo esto se trata del "Temor a Dios", pero no me refiero en tenerle miedo o susto a Dios, por lo contrario, me refiero al "Temor a Dios" que esta basado en respeto, obediencia y reverencia. Puedo asegurar que la mayoría de nosotros decimos, "yo sí respeto a Dios", pero analicémonos bien, ¿estamos verdaderamente respetando a Dios como El se lo merece? La única manera de demostrarle a Dios que lo respetamos, es escuchando su voz y siendo obedientes y me atrevo a decir que todos hemos fracasado en esta área alguna vez. El versículo de hoy nos confirma que si en verdad tememos a Dios entonces podremos descansar en El, sabiendo que Él tiene todo bajo control y los problemas o circunstancias negativas que vienen a nuestra vida no nos podrán hacer daño. ¿Será que nuestro orgullo es lo que no nos deja descansar en el Señor? ¿Vale la pena estar metidos en problemas o angustias por culpa de nuestro propio orgullo? Yo en realidad pienso que no vale la pena; ha llegado el tiempo de ponernos la "armadura correcta" como lo hacen los súper héroes y si no sabes a que armadura me refiero, estoy hablando de la ¡"Armadura de Dios"!.
