In your strongest voice I encourage you today to shout " I refuse to give up!". Do it again and again until you believe what you are saying! Lately we have been hitting the devil over the head with the Word and he seems to be fighting back at a stronger rate than ever. He doesn't seem to let down for a moment, can I get an Amen? I'm sure I'm not the only one that has been dealing with his attacks but as sure as I am of this I'm even more sure that I'm not the only one that will be blessed despite his mess! I know for many of us giving up in our current struggle seems to be the easiest thing to do, but I challenge you today, as God has challenged me, to press in even harder.
About two years ago I went to Colombia and I visited a place with a hillside that had over 700 steps, as I began my journey to the top I was inspired by the challenge and I was so amped up I made it without any real pain. It was interesting to me that on my journey down I felt more pain than my initial journey up! Why am I sharing this? Many of us are already passed the hard point of our journey but, this point of our journey (which should be easier) seems so hard, right? Our goal today has to be to keep things in perspective, though we are challenged today we are in a better place than we were yesterday so let's keep pressing in. Don't let the easy part of your journey be the biggest obstacle.

Have you ever felt like you have gone too far or done too much to make things right? I know in many occasions I have found myself in a too familiar place where I've realized I screwed up and I felt like there was no turning back. If you have felt or if you feel like this today I come with a message directly from the throne room for you today, it's never too late! I know it may seem like it is but God wants us to understand today that all the wrong we have done He died to erase over 2000 years ago. Before you and I made the mistake, He had covered the cost and given up His only begotten Son so that you and I would not die but rather have eternal life. Do you believe it? If you do then today I encourage you to get back to the drawing board and mend the damage that has been done, whether it was your fault or not is irrelevant. Today is a day that we put down our pride and lift up God within us.
The clock has stopped to allow us to get right today!

One of the biggest tricks to selling a house I learned when I worked in real estate, briefly, wasn't just that location was important, but also to make a batch of cookies right before an open house. Why? The cookie smell was to give the potential buyer the impression of a cozy scenario where they can feel comfortable and at home. This feeling of comfort would take someone from being a potential buyer to becoming an established buyer. Why is this important? The question comes to mind again, can you smell it in the air? There is a smell of comfort rising up in the midst of many disasters, God is allowing many of us to begin to connect with Him on a higher level. Those truly giving their hearts to Him can understand the scent that God is emitting today. It's a scent of rest, comfort, love and a feeling of feeling at home. Not being comfortable in our place, but rather being comfortable that no matter where we are, as long as we are with Him we are more than fine! If you know what I'm talking about I encourage you to shout an Amen right there where you are....

Have you ever stood in an airport and heard a boarding call for a flight? If you have you will notice the reaction you get from all the people assigned to that flight. People in the back of the plane that won't board until last, run as fast as those in the front and they will stand in the way of those that belong in front of them. It's actually amusing at times to see the despair in people that are all going on the same flight, it's not like the plane will leave without them! Why am I saying all of this today? Can you imagine if we translated that emotion to get on the plane to our Christian walk? We wouldn't want to be in a bad spot to seek God we would be running toward Him at the slight hint of His preparedness to receive us. Imagine the souls we would win, the healing that would take place, the restorations and the list goes on.... So what stops us? Lack of urgency! Our time to get our talents working is now and He is ready and willing to use us.

¿Alguna vez has estado en un aeropuerto y escuchas por las bocinas que llaman a un vuelo para abordar? Si has experimentado esta escena, habrás notado que todos los pasajeros del vuelo que ha sido llamado, inmediatamente se levantan y quieren entrar al avión al mismo tiempo. Aún aquellos que están asignados a las sillas de atrás y están supuestos a esperar para abordar de últimos, se apuran para tratar de entrar con los de primera clase; ellos se quieren asegurar que no van a quedar en una mala posición donde tal vez pierdan su vuelo. La verdad es que muchas veces me he divertido observando esta escena de desesperación. ¡Muchos pasajeros actúan como si el avión fuera a despegar sin ellos adentro! ¿Por qué les doy este ejemplo en este día? ¿Se pueden imaginar que sucedería si cogiéramos esta situación del aeropuerto y la aplicáramos a nuestro caminar con Dios? En nuestra relación con Dios no deberíamos quedarnos en un lugar donde no podemos experimentar su presencia, por lo contrario, deberíamos estar corriendo hacia El especialmente cuando notamos que El nos llama. Imagínense las almas que podríamos ganar para El, las sanidades que tomarían lugar, las cosas que se restaurarían.y la lista seguiría creciendo. ¿Entonces que es lo que nos detiene? ¡La falta de reconocer la urgencia de la situación! El tiempo de poner nuestros talentos y dones en acción es ahora y Dios esta listo y dispuesto a usarnos.

Another day begins and I'm sure many challenges lie ahead of us each. With that said one of the greatest challenges is the one of the adversary that we see apparently prospering and at times we grow frustrated at this appearance. The question is: Are they really prospering? Do they really find happiness in what is apparently something good? Only God and they can answer but the objective today is to discard what anyone else is doing or thinks and simply focus on our current situation. Has there been no improvement whatsoever in our lives? Do we feel that we have been discarded that much? Come on! It hasn't all been that bad! We have to remember the great things and testimonies laid up for us and focus on them rather than on the small hiccups we are facing. Today let's focus on the good and cast out the negative, hating voices.

Un nuevo día comienza y con el también llegan muchos desafíos para cada uno de nosotros. Con esto en mente tenemos que reconocer que los retos mas difíciles vienen de nuestro adversario y las cosas aparentan estar poniéndose peor y peor y parece que nada tiene solución. Usualmente nos frustramos y desilusionamos cuando vemos esto. Las preguntas de hoy son: ¿en verdad está prosperando lo que esta sucediendo? ¿Se encuentra la "verdadera felicidad" en las cosas que solamente "aparentan" ser buenas? Solo Dios y los demás saben las respuestas, pero el objetivo de hoy es simplemente que dejemos a un lado todo lo que los demás nos dicen y hacen y nos enfoquemos en nuestra situación actual. ¿Sera cierto que no ha pasado ningún cambio en nuestra vida? ¿De verdad nos sentimos tan abandonados? ¡No lo creo! ¡No puede ser tan malo! Tenemos que recordar las cosas agradables y los testimonios, enfoquémonos en ellos y no tanto en las cosas pequeñas que enfrentamos hoy. En este día enfoquémonos en las cosas buenas y no tanto en las negativas, ni tampoco en las voces acusadoras.

The times we are facing right now for many are not the easiest. Many are struggling and many are on the verge of giving up, but I have a message from God for you today and its "Hold on!". In all of our dealings with our difficulties we have to remember that there is a better way and that Way is Jesus. Is it easy to see Him? No, when we are struggling it becomes increasingly harder to see Him but that doesn't mean He is not there. If we are trying to do things our way and can't seem to gain the victory we seek, then today is the perfect day to start doing things a better way. I encourage you today to stand up and change the direction you have been going in, I'm not talking about giving your back to God I'm actually saying let's start facing God and walking towards Him. Wherever He is that is where the victory is!

Too few of us take enough time to truly acknowledge those around us that are helpful. We live life in a state where certain people feed into us positively but we begin to take them for granted, Why? I guess the only answer I can come up with is "Humanity". At least this is what I feel to be true in my life. With that said we don't have to remain in that state, we should begin to acknowledge and change. A lot easier said than done, right? Yes it is true it's easy to talk a good game but hard to put it in action but we have to at least attempt it. Our purpose as Christians is not to view our circumstances and allow them to change us but rather make our circumstances change based on our belief structure. So we may have been at fault for some time at taking people for granted but today is the perfect day to start to change that. As you embark on your day take a moment to say thanks to those around you that have breathed life into you......

Tristemente a la mayoría de nosotros constantemente se nos olvida reconocer a las personas que tenemos a nuestro alrededor, especialmente aquellos que son amables y serviciales. Vivimos en un ambiente donde muchas personas nos brindan cosas buenas y positivas pero desafortunadamente, nosotros no los apreciamos, me pregunto ¿por qué será? En realidad la única respuesta constante que encuentro es que así es la "humanidad". Por lo menos esto es lo que he notado en mi propia vida. Con esto en mente también puedo decir que no tenemos que quedarnos en este estado, podemos comenzar a cambiar y reconocer a aquellos que se lo merecen. Mucho más fácil decirle que hacerlo, ¿cierto? Sí, estoy consciente de que esto es cierto, es muy fácil formular una buena estrategia para un juego, pero otra cosa muy diferente es ejecutarla; pero tenemos que por lo menos intentarlo. Nuestro propósito como cristianos no es mirar nuestras circunstancias y dejar que ellas nos cambien, debemos de hacer lo contrario y cambiar nuestras circunstancias por medio de nuestra fe y conocimiento en Dios. Aunque hasta ahora hemos sido culpables de no apreciar a los demás, hoy es el día perfecto para comenzar a cambiar. A medida que comienzas este día, coge un momento para agradecerles a aquellos que traen cosas lindas a tu vida.

One of the greatest commandments of them all is to love your neighbor. He designed us to love each other and support each other, so why is it so hard? SELFISHNESS! To many of us suffer from this vicious word and it drives us to do things that don't support healthy relationships. We look out for number one and number one alone. Though this is try in most of our cases it doesn't mean we have to remain this way. It's never too late to change the way we are, all we need is determination and acknowledgment. This formula doesn't just work in the things of God but it works in all other facets of life. Do you want to feel loved? Then we have to begin to love others. Today I encourage you to love someone as you would like them to love you. Look past their apparent mistakes and imperfections and simply embrace them.

Uno de los mandamientos más importantes es amar a nuestro prójimo. Dios nos diseño para amarnos los unos a los otros y para apoyarnos mutuamente, si esto es cierto, entonces ¿por qué es tan difícil hacerlo? ¡EL EGOISMO! Muchos de nosotros tristemente sufrimos de esta mal y desafortunadamente el egoísmo nos lleva a hacer muchas cosas que no benefician relaciones saludables. Pensamos solamente en nosotros y nada, ni nadie importa más que nosotros. Aunque esta sea nuestra realidad en la mayoría de los casos, podemos cambiar. Nunca es demasiado tarde para cambiar las cosas que están mal en nosotros, solo necesitamos determinación y reconocer que algo esta mal.Esta formula no solo funciona en las cosas de Dios sino que también trabaja en todo aspecto de nuestra vida. ¿Quieres sentirte amado? Entonces tenemos que comenzar a amar a los demás. Hoy te invito a que ames a alguien de la misma manera que anhelas ser amado. Enfócate mas allá de sus imperfecciones y defectos y simplemente acógelos con amor.

Why not have high expectations? Why live life assuming the worse in every situation and at all times? Why be miserable when we can find a silver lining in the clouds? How do you do it? Look to Jesus! He is the silver lining, if you feel down and out then we have to focus our eyes on Him. How do you do it? Like everything else in life, when we want to see something we pay attention to its positioning, eliminate the distractions and devote ourselves to seeing the item. ¡Que Dios Te Bendiga!
¿Qué tiene de malo tener expectativas bien altas? ¿Por qué vivir la vida asumiendo que solo van a suceder cosas negativas todo el tiempo? ¿Por qué vivir abatidos cuando podemos buscar y encontrar algo positivo en toda situación? ¿Cómo podemos lograr esto? ¡Miremos hacia Jesús! El es lo "positivo", si nos sentimos decaídos o débiles tenemos que enfocar nuestro mirada en El. ¿Cómo hacemos esto? En todo aspecto de nuestra vida podemos notar que cuando verdaderamente deseamos ponerle atención a algo, nos fijamos en su posición, eliminamos cualquier distracción y le damos toda nuestra devoción a ese "algo". Hoy los animo a que juntos dejemos de enfocarnos en lo negativo y pongamos todo nuestro enfoque en las cosas positivas. ¿Qué es lo peor que puede suceder? ¿Qué seamos felices? Ha llegado el tiempo de aumentar nuestras expectativas.

Time and time again I hear people leave churches because of the pastor's, leader's, offense, etc. The question that always rings in my heart is "why were they going to church in the first place?". Don't misunderstand what I'm saying, I'm not saying don't go to church but rather I'm asking "Why are they going to church?" Are we supposed to go to church for man? I'm sure we are all lifting our chin in our self-righteousness saying "I go to church for God!" so then why do so many of us leave because of man? Too many of us have disconnected from God and assumed our fraternal connection to man was the way to God and as soon as man has failed us (and I'm sure he has) we don't disconnect from man alone but from God as well. What did God do? Did God sell you on church being filled with perfect people? Of course not! We can't expect to go to church and meet perfection but rather we go to church and meet imperfection in process of purification. The verse today reminds us that we are to follow God not man. If we have connected to a church and have forgotten about God then we have to reconnect correctly with both..

Una y otra vez escucho a personas decir que se han ido o se van a ir de las iglesias por alguna ofensa de parte de los pastores, o de algún líder, etc. Lo que siempre me pregunto cuando escucho esto es: ¿cual era su verdadera motivación para asistir a la iglesia en primer lugar? No me mal entiendan, no estoy diciendo que no vayan a la iglesia, lo que trato de preguntar es ¿por qué van a la iglesia? ¿Estamos supuestos a ir a la iglesia para seguir a un hombre? Estoy seguro de que todos estamos levantando nuestros rostros y pensando en nuestra propia justicia, "yo voy a la iglesia por Dios", si esto es cierto ¿por qué es que muchos de nosotros nos vamos por lo que nos hacen los hombres? Muchos de nosotros nos hemos desconectado con Dios y hemos permitido que nuestras conexiones fraternales con las personas se conviertan en nuestra linea de conexion con Dios. Cuando esto sucede lo que verdaderamente ocasiona es que si alguien nos ofende o nos falla, nos desconectamos de las personas y de Dios tambien. ¿Qué fue lo que te hizo Dios? ¿Acaso Dios te digo que en la iglesia ivas a encontrar a personas perfectas? ¡Claro que NO! No podemos esperar que cuando llegamos a la iglesia vamos a encontrar la perfección, más bien debemos verlo de la siguiente manera: cuando llegamos a la iglesia nos encontramos con los imperfectos en proceso de purificación. El versículo de hoy nos recuerda que debemos de seguir a Dios y no al hombre. Si nos hemos conectado a una iglesia pero nos hemos olvidado de Dios, entonces tenemos que reconectarnos de nuevo con ambos pero de la manera correcta...

Want to know the biggest problem in humans? Curiosity. This feeling drives us to experiment with things we shouldn't, look for things we haven't "LOST", go places we shouldn't and try to figure out God. Why fix something that's not broken? Why try to explain GOD in human terms? It becomes so detrimental at times when we try to exhaust ourselves explaining God rather than simply embracing Him. Many of us allow blessings to walk right by us because we want to understand their origins, to this I say " Who cares how they came!". God will plant seed in our lives and our job is to reap the blessing not try to explain it, He is God. Today He challenges us to simply embrace Him and His blessings over us and stop trying to explain it.

¿Quieres saber cual es el problema más grande que tenemos los humanos? La curiosidad. Este sentimiento en muchas ocasiones nos lleva a experimentar cosas que jamás deberíamos tratar, nos hace buscar cosas que no se nos han "PERDIDO", nos hace ir a lugares que deberíamos evitar ir y también nos pone a tratar de investigar a Dios a un nivel que jamás vamos a comprender. ¿Por qué intentar arreglar algo que no se ha roto? ¿Por qué tratar de entender a Dios en términos humanos? En realidad es muy perjudicial cuando desgastamos nuestras fuerzas en tratar de descifrar los misterios de Dios cuando lo que deberíamos estar haciendo es simplemente, disfrutar de lo que El nos ofrece como un Padre amoroso que es. Muchos de nosotros, cantidad de veces dejamos que las bendiciones se nos escapan simplemente por que estamos muy ocupados tratando de descifrar de donde viene la bendición. Lo único que les puede responder a esto es: "¡que importa de donde vienen!" Dios deposita las semillas en nuestra vida y nuestro trabajo es cuidarlas y cosechar buen fruto, no el tratar de buscarle explicación a todo.El es Dios. En este día Dios nos desafía a que lo abrasemos fuertemente y aceptemos sus bendiciones, El desea que paremos de tratar de explicar lo que solo El le puede dar explicación.

I'm not sure about you but I can be honest enough to say there have been times in my walk where I have tried to hide the fact that I was part of the "Light". I don't say it with pride but rather shame but, with an understanding that I have been forgiven. Why do I share this awful truth? To help you avoid making the same mistakes I have made. When we accept Jesus in our heart there is a major change that takes place, with that change comes many pressures and problems but also a reserve of energy and strength that is like nothing we can even fathom. As we discover the Truth and we begin to tap into it, we grow and prosper exponentially. So why hide it? Why hide the one good thing we do have to offer this world? I am challenged today and I in turn challenge you to go out and share the work of God with someone around you.

Yo no se de ustedes, pero en este día puede ser honesto al contarles que en algunos momentos de mi caminar con el Señor, sí he tratado de esconder el hecho de que soy parte de la "Luz". No lo digo con orgullo si no más bien con vergüenza, pero sí con el entendimiento que ya he sido perdonado. ¿Por qué les comparto esta vergonzosa verdad? Lo hago para tratar de evitarles que cometan los mismos errores que yo he cometido. Cuando aceptamos a Jesús en nuestro corazones hay un cambio inmenso que toma lugar; con este cambio también llegan muchas presiones y problemas, pero a la vez también recibimos unas fuerzas y energías que jamás podremos comprender en su totalidad. Ha medida que vamos descubriendo la verdad de Dios, poco a poco vamos creciendo y prosperando a niveles exponenciales. Entonces, ¿por qué esconder esto tan espectacular? ¿Por qué esconder una de las pocas cosas buenas que le podemos ofrecer a este mundo? Hoy me siento desafiado y a la vez te desafió a ti para que compartamos la maravillosa obra que Dios ha hecho en nosotros con alguien que tengas cerca.

In society today we tend to avoid doing something negative towards someone we care about and things should be like this. In the things of God its actually the opposite (keep reading before you begin to judge). When we see His presence and understand Him, we will begin to notice He actually asks us to throw all the bad stuff we are dealing with at Him. He does this not because He wants to teach us to be a bad person but rather that He can establish a personal experience log with each of us. The big thing we have to understand is that there is no weight or problem to big or heavy for Him to resolve. When we begin to believe and trust in this we will begin to understand what being free is really about. Can I say I have 100% achieved this? Actually NO. I'm not even close but, I do understand the power of words and today I confess (and invite you to do the same) that all my anxieties can and will be handled by God. I may not be able to do it on my own but with Him I am more than a conqueror!

En la sociedad en que vivimos lo correcto y normal es que evitemos hacerles daño a las personas que queremos. En las cosas de Dios, sucede lo opuesto (por favor sigue leyendo antes de que juzgues lo que acabas de leer). Cuando comenzamos a conocer a Dios más íntimamente y pasamos tiempo en su presencia, nos damos cuenta que Él nos manda a entregarle todas nuestras cargas y preocupaciones, por que Él, en su perfecto amor se encargara de resolver todas las cosas que pongamos en sus manos. El hace todo esto no por que quiera enseñarnos a ser personas irresponsables o negligentes, si no más bien por que su gran anhelo es, que tu y yo confiemos en El por completo y llevemos una agenda espiritual de nuestras experiencias con El. Lo que tenemos que recordar es que no hay ningún problema o situación que sea demasiado grande para que nuestro Dios lo resuelva. Cuando en realidad comencemos a comprender este principio, aprenderemos el verdadero significado de ser libres por medio de Cristo. ¿Sera que yo ya he logrado esto al 100%? ¡Por supuesto que NO! No estoy ni cerca del 100% pero sí he aprendido el poder que hay en las palabras y en este día, les confeso (y los invito a todos a hacer lo mismo) que todas mis ansiedades y preocupaciones se las entrego al Señor para que Él se encargue de resolverlas. Puede ser que no logre solucionar las cosas con mis propias fuerzas pero en El, ¡soy más que vencedor!

There is one constant in this life: people will always have something to say about you and I. It's a fact of life that we all have to accept, the sad part is that for the most part it's never positive, why? Anyone outside of your shoes can diagnose you but what about themselves? No, they don't really need it ( HUGE LAUGHING OUT LOUD), at least they don't think so. So why am I going on about this? Today's verse is specifically about the way people did the same thing to Jesus. He was not exempt from the nay Sayers, bad mouthers and simple haters. He had to deal with them just as we do, He left records of these encounters not so we can feel bad for Him but rather so we can understand that it will happen to us and we have to approach it the same way He did. What approach is that? "Let's give them something to talk about!" He didn't hide what He did or who He did it with, He did what He had set out to do, save the lost! Today He encourages us to do the same, forget what the others think and say, just complete and do as He directs us...

Hay una cosa que es constante en esta vida: la gente siempre tendrá algo que decir sobre nosotros. Esto es simplemente un hecho que tenemos que aprender a aceptar; lo triste de esto esque la mayoría de veces que la gente habla, no es para decir cosas buenas, ¿por qué será? Todos los que no están en nuestro zapatos son capaces de darnos un diagnostico, pero ¿qué pasa con el diagnostico de ellos? Claro que ellos no lo necesitan (riéndome por dentro), por lo menos eso es lo que ellos creen. Entonces, ¿por qué es que insisto en este tema hoy? El versículo de hoy nos demuestra que Jesús experimentó precisamente, esta misma clase de situación. El no estuvo exento a los comentarios negativos, no estuvo exento a las groserías de muchos, ni tampoco de las personas que simplemente odiaban todo lo que El hacia. Jesús tubo que enfrentarse con todo esto de la misma manera que nosotros lo tenemos que hacer. Jesús se aseguro de dejar un registro de todas estas situaciones no para que le tuviéramos pesar, si no para que tuviéramos su ejemplo de cual es la manera correcta de reaccionar en estas circunstancias. ¿Cuál es la manera correcta de reaccionar? "Démosles razones para hablar" Jesús no escondió lo que hacia o las personas que lo acompañaban, ¡el cumplió con su tarea de salvar al perdido! En este día El nos anima a hacer exactamente lo mismo. No prestemos atención a lo que los demás dicen y hacen y hagamos lo que el Señor nos dirige hacer de la mejor manera.

Do you know that feeling, when you get right after someone just let you have it and you want to respond in the flesh but you remember you are Christian? Arrr!!! I'm sure I'm not the only one but I tell you there is a great reward for those that are able to tame their tongue. The verse today talks specifically about how we are blessed when people talk about us, talk bad at us, etc. It happens to all of us and at one point or another we have to confront it. The message today is doesn't sweat the little things, every curse the enemy throws at us is reversed by God into a blessing!

¿Será que puedes reconocer la incomoda sensación que experimentamos después de que alguien nos insulta y nuestra naturaleza humana solo desea responder de la misma forma, pero enseguida algo nos recuerda que somos cristianos? ¡Arrrr! Estoy convencido que no soy el único que ha experimentado esto, pero lo que sí te puedo asegurar es que la recompensa es grande si logramos aprender a controlar nuestra lengua. El versículo de hoy precisamente nos recuerda que somos bienaventurados cuando los demás hablan de nosotros, aún cuando hablan mal o mentiras, etc. Esto nos sucede a todos, tarde o temprano llega el momento donde nos vemos confrontados con estas situaciones. El mensaje de hoy es que por fin dejemos de preocuparnos y estresarnos por cosas pequeñas que no valen la pena; recordemos que cada maldición que el enemigo intenta echarnos encima, ¡Dios la transforma en una bendición!

Many of us think that our actions don't have an effect on those around us but we are very mistaken. Everyone around us, though they may seem to ignore or not acknowledge us, have us present in their minds. How do I know this? If this wasn't the case gossip wouldn't spread like a wild fire! With that said our actions have an enormous ability to either bring people closer to God or push them far away. From personal experience I will share, that when I'm doing good no one says a beep but at the moment my smile turns into a frown (which it does, trust me!) I have everyone around me reminding me of my calling. Isn't it funny how even the devil will try to remind you to get right when you are wrong! "Aren't you a Pastor?" "Aren't you a church goer?" my inner response: "don't you have something better to do with your time than to bother me?". My outer response: "we all have our moments, I'm human." This is the truth but each day we all have to work at having less "moments". With all that said I encourage all of us today to take strength in knowing we have been blessed with Grace but also be clear in the knowledge that everything we do will affect those around us for good or bad..

Muchos de nosotros a veces pensamos que nuestras acciones no tendrán ningún efecto en las personas que nos rodean, pero la realidad es que estamos muy equivocados cuando pensamos así. La verdad es que todos los que nos rodean, aunque aparentemente a veces nos ignoran y no nos prestan atención, sí se están fijando en todo lo que hacemos y decimos. ¿Cómo es que yo se esto? Por que si esto no fuera cierto, ¡entonces los chismes no se regarían tan rápido como un incendio en un bosque! Con esto en mente, tenemos que reconocer que todas nuestras acciones tienen la habilidad de acercar o alejar a las personas de Dios. De mi experiencia personal les puedo compartir que por lo usual, cuando estoy haciendo las cosas bien, nadie dice ni una sola palabra, pero en el instante donde mi sonrisa cambia por un ceño en mi frente (créanme que esto sí sucede), todo el mundo comienza a hablarme y recordarme de cual es mi llamado. Suena gracioso, pero hasta el enemigo tratará de recordarte que tienes que hacer lo bueno cuando estés haciendo lo contrario. "¿Luego no eres el pastor?", "¿Luego tú no vas a la iglesia?" a esto mi respuesta interna usualmente es: "¿no tienes algo mejor que hacer con tu tiempo que tienes que venir a molestarme?". Mi respuesta verbal tal ves sea: "¡todos tenemos nuestros días malos, soy humano!". Todo esto es cierto, pero día a día, tenemos que seguir intentando tener menos y menos "días malos". Después de decir todo esto, solo quiero animarnos a recordar que somos fuertes porque hemos sido bendecidos con la Gracia de Dios, pero debemos mantener siempre presente el conocimiento que todo lo que hacemos, puede afectar a los que nos rodean, tanto para bien como para mal.

Let me describe a scenario to you, I'm standing in a room with the richest person in the world telling them I'm going to give them something of value to me (that they gave me first) that they have a surplus of but I'm doing it begrudgingly. Make sense? Of course not! This same scenario happens every day as we stand before the presence of God and fight against giving Him our heart and time. We have it because He gave it to us, or did we create ourselves asexually? The verse today expresses how God does not require anything from us because it is all His, today I encourage us to stop being stingy with God! He has never held back blessings from us in fact He paid it all forward through Jesus's Sacrifice on the cross.

Déjenme describirles una escena; me encuentro en un salón con la persona más rica del mundo y les digo que les voy a entregar algo muy valioso (lo cual ellos mismos me dieron previamente), pero ese algo que les quiero dar, ellos ya lo tienen y por cantidades, sin embargo yo se los voy a dar pero lo hago de mala gana. ¿Tiene esto algún sentido? ¡Claro que no! Esta misma escena la vivimos a diario cuando nos encontramos en la presencia de Dios pero constantemente peleamos con El por que no le queremos entregar nuestro corazón, ni tampoco nuestro tiempo. Si tenemos estas dos cosas, fue por que Él no las dio, no porque nosotros nos formamos a nosotros mismos sin pasar por el proceso normal de reproducción. El versículo de hoy nos recuerda que Dios no necesita nada de nosotros por que todo lo que existe, es de El. ¡En este día nos animo a todos a que dejemos de ser tacaños con Dios! Él nunca ha sido tacaño con nosotros, Él nunca se ha quedado con nuestras bendiciones, es más, por lo contrario El pagó todas nuestras deudas cuando hizo el sacrificio en la cruz.

Start this morning right! Don't fall back into the same lull from yesterday, fine things happened but God wants the best for you and I. He has already forgiven us for everything we may have done yesterday and forever ago and our time to accept His forgiveness is now! Don't wait to get to church start today, realize that the Sacrifice He made on the cross was for you! It wasn't just for the leaders, pastors and all other religious folk but specifically for you and me. Sounds like good news? It should, it is the best news you will ever hear so today He encourages us to actually believe for the best, believe for the most and realize you and I actually deserve it.

¡Comenzemos este día de la manera correcta! No caigamos en la misma trampa de ayer; es cierto que pasan cosas que no nos agradan pero al final, Dios solo quiere lo mejor para tí y para mi. El yá nos perdonó por todo lo que hicimos ayer y aùn por lo que hagamos en el mañana. ¡Asi que nuestro momento de aceptar su perdón es ahora! No esperes para llegar a la iglesia, comienza hoy, reconoce que el sacrificio que El hizo en la cruz, ¡fue por tí! No fue solamente para los líderes, los pastores o cualquier otra persona religiosa, fue específicamente por tí y por mi. ¿Te parece esto una buena noticia? Pues debería serlo. Esta es la mejor noticia que podemos escuchar, asi que en este día el Señor nos anima a que creamos las cosas buenas que El tiene preparadas para nosotros. Cree en las mejores cosas y acepta que tu y yo, nos las merecemos.

I know we are accustomed to sending out these devotionals with a small blurb and verse affiliated with a topic but I wanted to share with you the great need that we humans have for affirmation. We all need to hear we are doing something good, we need to hear from our loved ones that we are not complete screw ups! Of course we are not but between the world, the enemy and our self-esteems a great deal of damage is done. Today I encourage you as I do myself to tell someone they are doing a great job. Look for a detail that normally you would overlook and let them know that it is not going unnoticed. Why do this? Why not? The only thing that can come from it is Good¡K.
