God bless!
Is God’s love conditional? Of course not! But our love is... The verse below almost makes it sound as if we have to do something to get something with God but if we read it closely it actually has to do with our acceptance of Him rather than His acceptance of us. To break it down, we have to delight and or accept Him to be able to accept gifts from Him. Are we stopping our promise from being fulfilled because we are not truly accepting His help? Hmm... I guess it makes a lot of sense if you stop and ponder it, would you accept a gift from an enemy? Weren't we taught as kids to avoid and not take gifts from strangers? Is He a stranger to us? If our relationship with Him is not real or simply religious, can we expect His promises? I know I'm asking a lot of questions today but how many of us are not quietly upset at God because we "don’t" have what He promised? How many of us don't "avoid" Him because we are angry and feel left alone? How many of us walk away from our call because we feel He isn't living up to His part? I know for many of us it will be hard to admit the before mentioned and that difficulty will prove to delay further the fulfillment of our promise. We have to come to terms with God! When we do we will accept and delight in Him and will begin to see His flood gates of blessings open up over us!
